    I haven’t done it myself, but taking the ferry to Santander and then using local trains sounds like the most practical option. Hiring one in Spain could save the hassle of transport though

    Normally the flat bit should sit level. You might want to check if the towbar is mounted correctly or if the ball has been replaced with a non-standard part.
