Hi all I have for sale my 6 month old juicy bike conversion kit, still attached to my Trek 7300fx road bike. I need to go faster so i will be joining the 50cc crew. Also I 've had an accident, due to jumping up and down pavements, the bottom end of my RST suspension forks have snapped. all pics enclosed. You can definitly hear the motor, my only comparison would be a Wisper Ebike, they both sound the same. So to answer no its not noisy.

Changing the right thumb shifter is a bit cumbersome, due to the fact that on installation, he rolled the shifter forward. Thanks for the ON YOUR BIKE shifter reference, but I have to sort out either a 28" rear wheel or a new 700c thicker tyre so the wheels look uniform. PLus other bits and bobs, so the shifter will be far down the list of WANTS. Thanks for the info..

Hi all, Just to update you on the progress of my conversion kit drama. Well the kit was delivered on time, I dithered a bit wondering wether to fit it myself, but sided on the sensible option and give it to E-BIKES Direct who are and have been superb. Knowing I am a e-bike virgin Sam the guy who fitted the kit was excellent and very knowledgle. Infact Both Bob from Juicy Bikes and Sam from E-bikes directly conversed between themsleves to resolve a minor issue. So to any E-Bike virgin I recommend dealing with these guys, as they have the patience to deal with first timers with crazy questions as I was. Now to the kit... I have only been able to use the bike on my lunch hour, going to places i would never dream off with a basic bike, and on return my legs are not like jelly, and my heart rate is below the legal limit. I urge those who are procrastinating like I was to put all your inhibitions and worries to the side and JUST get one or if you got the tools and are on a par with Bob the Builder then fit it yourself. I will update again with statistic on speed and range etc etc, but in general IT's FLIPPING GREAT, whizzing through london traffic and having the confidence to tackle hills and go to the front of the queue at traffic lights is just a start, not to mention the health benefits, (using the pedal sensor you feel as if your gliding along but all the while your pedalling with no greeat strain, hence you feel to travel further thus building up the muscles in your legs in the correct way, "High reps, light weight" is the term used in fitness training and thats how the pedelec system on this bike will help you. Juicy Bike Kit arrived yesterday many thanks Buxum Bob. Only problem encountered are my bikes front suspension forks screw holes, are slightly to small for the front wheeled hub motor axle to slot into. I could bang them in but I would have a permanent wheel stuck on the bike never to come off so i thought it best I give the installation to experts....... Hi all, Hope you are all ok, and getting fitter. Sat 15tyh Oct I was travelled all the way from London to Tamworth to purchase 500 Watt 36v http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Velocity-elite-electric-bike-/200657085446?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item2eb8182406 If the link doesn't work simply go to ebay and type velocity ebike or Polesworth Garage. Before i left I did confirm with the salesman that everything was ok and ready to be picked up. Problem No1. never purchase expensive ebikes from people who have NO IDEA of what they are selling. The first time I made enquires I nearly had an argument with one of the sales staff who had decided to his employers amazement to call the Velocity bike a NIFTY bike, anyway I digress. I called to confrim all was well, I was given the go ahead. Got there 2 1/2 hours later due to a crash on the M40 j13 - j15 didn't help. Met the other sales guy another clueless brummie who switched on the velocity ebike only to be confronted with ERROR code 25, BRAKE FAILURE, the guy then went on to email his CONtact in Canada the guy who originally sold them the bikes alas we are still waiting a response. Anyway I have just purchased a conversion kit from BOB at JUICY BIKES buxom, so I awiat delivery of that and I will let you all know how I got on.

Scottf you said sod off efficiency am afraid my feelings are hurt are you telling me to sod off. Arghhhh now i understand, many thanks Frank but some of us need LAY MAN TERMS, and Scottyf hit the nail on the head..... Whats the waiting time for a kit from China and can anyone recommend a reputable dealer to do business with???? For the experts and the long termers in this forum you all may have an idea what NRG is going on about. But for us beginners/non ebike technically minded, try it again in lay man's terms please. Efficient motors etc why are they not efficient in these modern times, for goodness sake it's 2011, Motors should be 100% efficient, if not why not..... or are we the punters being made fools out of just like the IPODPADPEN industry, new release of version 1 in March by august version 2 is out rendering your initial outlay for version 1 useless, happens every year in the elctrionics industry, for instance I could get a Blue ray player for £100 there or about, blue rays release prices 8 months earlier were £600-800. OR is that plain old capitalism showing its nostrils again.. yes am having a rant today it seems IS the Ebike world trying to follow suite........?

Oh right, so voltage mulitply by the amp of the controller not the ampage of the battery will equal the amount of wattage going into the motor. learn something new everyday apart from the HP remark !

It's a buyers market, if my needs are that granny has to ride it on a Thursday, or that a computer controlled voice will tell me that am pedalling to fast, well if I got the MONEY then THATS what I WANT, and if, MR TRADER MAN you can't be bothered I will go to someone that is bothered, they will get my MONEY along with all the the people I happened to recommend him/her too. So traders nurture your ditherers, 8 times out of 10 a ditherer will go with the trader who has patience with their dithering, believe me I know, coming straight from a ditherer (gosh am using the word Dither alot). Also I would love to know what you traders talk about in your private forum???????? what are the subject matters????? do you banter about the ditherers???? You are all laughing at 10 year warranty dream, well when Electric bikes become common place in this society, and MR YEN is hungary for profit, we will see who is laughing then, you do the sums, sitting there all self righteous because you think you know the ebike world.... So can you PM if you have a complete bike for £1000 mark or a kit + fitting + my own bike (TREK 7300fx 2004/5) for the same money please? Thanks to you too NRG, The only complete 350w on the market are the Alienbikes crew up in scotland, the Aurora and the Apollo, the Apollo being my first choice Electric Bicycles - Apollo £1,099. alas the 750w motor will draw amps from the 36v 16ah battery. Do you know of any complete bikes closer to the UK!, or london rather(for warranty purposes, i would like the trader who I purchase the bike from to be within 50miles). Otherwise it will have to be a conversion and there's only three traders I may go with, Cyclezee, Xipi or S.Larkins of Greenwhich london, do you know of any more Mr NRG
