it cuts out randomly even when not moving , to power back on i have to disconnect switch from display unit and then it powers back up, i'm thinking maybe a faulty switch ?

hi all , have a problem with my bafang kit the display keeps cutting off and won't come back on again unless i unplug it checked all connections all good any suggestions ?

hi wonder if anyone has a midrive fitted with a quick release wheel at the rear want to travel with bike next week and want to swap out bolt on wheel with Qr so i can remove easy for train not sure about strength of quick release v bolt on with midrive have the Bafang 500w kit fitted so quite a bit of torque any info appreciated

Ok thanks sounds good ,the weight of the battery means i could carry it easy in a pannier I can order the bike but i can't see the battery listed in your online shop how do i go about ordering this?

the easy solution would be to buy an additional battery with the bike so i could just swap over , do you have batteries additional batteries to buy?

I was looking at this bike and would had bought it the only drawback for me was the battery i want a greater range, i have 3 batteries which are which are 20-21aH I bought a couple of mid-drives and a big bear kit from you last year and was hoping to unitize one of those . Is the battery on this bike removable?

i was thinking of rack mounting it or maybe if room mounting it on the crossbar a have a 21ah dolphin battery that jimmy made for me , although the one he has made for your bike looks nice and compact in that bag

Hi all wondering if anyone has had any experience converting a folding mountain bike using a Bafang mid drive motor kit ,looking at building one to take touring around Cornwall any info/advise appreciated

the battery pack is 36v ,the full charge voltage is 38,2 v and in my opinion this is wrong in full discharge state voltage is 32.4v peaks amps drawn during test was 19-20amps the battery pack consists of Ncm pouch packs which are normally used in the electric car industry

hi all I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the problem I'm having with my Bafang bbs02 kit ,i fitted this kit a few weeks ago and have been using it along with my Ping 36v 15ah lifepo4 batteries with no problems at all as these batteries are coming towards the end of there service life (4 years old)i decided to have a new bigger battery built which was a 17.5Ah Ncm pack when using it with the kit after about 4 miles with mid assist level the power level noticeably drops and the battery fully discharges after 6 miles, after sending the battery back twice the battery builder thinks the problem is with the kit as the cut off voltage is set at 31v on their controller as they are set up to use lifepo4 batteries therefore prematurely cutting the battery off .having carried out numerous tests all point to the battery fully discharging and not being cut off by the controller even using with a lower power kit with voltage cut off @ 27.5 v . i have never come across this and have always used bagang kits with different battery chemistries with no such problems has anyone experienced similar? any information appreciated

I wonder if anyone has had any experience with the bafang central motor kits? i'm currently using a front bpm 350w with 22A contoller which is used off road for towing a trailer around a wildlife park with very steep pathways/lanes, looking at the spec on the cental motors the torque is much better i was thinking about the 500w watt kit so if there were too much power it can be switched down a level rarther then buy the 250/350w and not have enough power

INFORMATION IS TAKEN FROM CONTROLLER LABEL IT SAYS POWER - 450W ,OVERCURRENT 17A WHICH I FOUND ODD I'VE OPENED UP THE CONTROLLER TO EXPLORE SOLDERING IT BUT THERE IS NO ROOM BELIEVE YOU ME IT IS TIGHT THEY HAVE SOLDERED WIRES SO CLOSE TO IT THEY ALMOST MAKE CONTACT WITH THE SHUNT I HAVE NEVER SEEN I SET UP LIKE THIS THERE ARE 2 SMALL SHUNTS ONE SHUNT HAS BEEN BRIDGED WITH SOLDER ? . I BELIEVE THERE HAS BEEN A MIX UP WITH THE CONTROLLER A FRIEND HAS A ALIEN AURORA WITH AN 18A CONTROLLER AND IT FLIES UP THE HILLS .thanks d8veh I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THAT CONTROLLER how can i get the money too you?

kit is 36v 350w BPM (216) rear driving on a 26" wheel battery is 15ah ping

hi all i am hoping someone can throw some light on an issue i have with my Bpm kit i just finished fitting it yesterday and have taken it for a test ride today , how disappointed i am there seems to be very little difference between my 8Fun motor and the Bpm motor on the hill climbing on closer inspection it appears the controller has an over current of 17A however looking on the Greenbikekit website the 36v 450w controller they supply has an over current of 25A is it a case of a wrong controller sent or is the details for the controller wrong? any advise appreciated thanks

GBK seem to be a branch off from BMS in fact comparing e-mails i have received from both not only is the contact of the same name (Anna)the wording is very similar i think its pretty much the same as e-bay sellers setting up many accounts and switching to a different account when their feedback gets bad, so they pretty much always have good feedback one thing i found amusing is a feedback letter they have on the home page you get the feeling its been made up !

yes just the kit i have two very good ping heavy duty batteries so don't need a full kit with battery they have e-mail me back today and quoted £70.00 shipping which seems good i'm happy with that ,i usually use BMS battery but i have seen from others on here they've gone 'down hill somewhat' i have heard they gave priority to their biggest customers the american market .i have a rear mounted battery setup and wondered if anybody has done a build with a rear driving kit with the battery mounted on the pannier rack not sure about all the weight on the back ?

any body had and experience buying from green bike kit? thinking of buying the bafang bpm kit however they say cannot ship motor by fedex so the next shipping option seems steep @ £120.00

managed to get cover off using a rubber mallet and vice , i cannot see anything noticeably wrong inside gearing's look OK there is some slight carbon marks on the windings other than that all looks good i'll take this as being a costly learning exercise as they say you learn from your mistakes and i know better for next time thanks for all your input especially d8veh

Tried that option as well ,will not turn just bends the screws even tried it in the vice
