  1. I bought these for my powbike/Sakura then ended up selling the bike and not fitting the batteries, so these are surplus to requirements. £50
  2. I do hope that you can get it sorted soon. I am sure you will enjoy it whatever the outcome though
  3. I had a peek at the site and really like the look of the marathon cross. Would love the marathon extreme but fear that this might not suit the bike etc.
  4. i too pull an a single trailer behind a bike to work and back and its brilliant. you get there so much quicker and without needing a shower when you arrive! i have a giant twist express and a basic trailer and they work really well
  5. I have some rather slick tyres on my giant twist express. Now I mean slick as in I find them a bit slippery and not grippy enough for my waftiness. I dont feel like I am planted in the same way as my ordinary bike. I guess that is to be expected though as they were more off road tyres. Would it be possible to change the existing tyres for more off road type ones without losing out to much to economy etc etc. Sorry for the potentially stupid question but I am genuinely a bit foxed. TIA
  6. LOL I thought I was going mad not being able to see that. They do look good I must say.
  7. I know I am probably being slow but where is it for sale at £100 please?
  8. Have you one of these yourself? Are they suitable for very slightly off road? Thanks
  9. Thanks loads and OMG i cant believe that about them being fs after the riots!! THanks will check it out. quick question, do you think that these might be suitable for offroad(ish) use too? My giant bikes tyres are not good on tracks which are not tarmac
  10. I totally appreciate what you are saying about a brompton but for the use that it would get, for my requirements it is not perhaps worth the inital outlay. I have my lovely giant electric bike which I love and use a lot, but I wanted something I could pop into the boot of my ancient golf when I take the children out (theirs go on the bike rack) and so I can join in with them rather than having to run like a loony after them. Even our (just turned) 2 year old is scarily proficient on her balance bike so I need to run to keep up with her.
  11. **Sigh** if only my budget would allow for such a delight.
  12. I am after a folding bike (I am sorry this is not strictly speaking an electric bike thing) which I can hop into the car. Much as I would love to have the electric aspect of it its is not essential. Needless to say that budget is the name of the game here. TIA
  13. as a total newbie to this form i have found that everyone including vendors have been very helpful. i know on other forums i have been on vendors are not openly allowed to advertise their wares
  14. OMG that is fabulous. Surely a girl can have more than one electric bike?
  15. I am the proud owner of a giant twist express. very happy with my purchase
  16. I have just been around a couple today in Norwich which were pedal revolution and velocycles. However, both of them only stock either the giant and/or the ebco bikes
  17. Thank you, its a long and very boring story Thank you I will have a look and see if I can find it. Do you have any pictures please? Some excellent advice. Clearly your lady and I are both wonderfully proportioned at the perfect 5ft4" Thank you, and you have rather a tempting website. It is rather a shame that you are not local to me. Also I have been looking at the giant twist express which I saw in person today at the bike shop. I really liked it as its as light as my current normal bike. Also someone mentioned ebco which I had a look at but was not quite taken with. Anyone have any advice on the above?
  18. thank you. I am in sunny norfolk
  19. I currently have a sakura shopper bicycle which I do love but as I am on the shorter side of 5ft4" I find that the weight distribution is a bit difficult to handle. So I am going to sell her onto a new home and invest in a new bike. So, I would really appreciate some advice. I am female and petite and need the bike to be light-ish. I only bike to work and back which is 10 miles or so in total on mainly flat terrain with the odd hill. My budget will stretch to about £800 which I know is not much in terms of electric bikes which is why I was hoping for some advice as to what you think would be fabby. Thanks in advance
