  1. Great Job, Can i ask you which controller do you use that let you work throttle and led display at the same time. I have a rare 8fun and the controller that came with it only has connections for one of them (either led display or throttle)
  2. Thank you for the replies, What i don' t like about the kit i use is that when i reach 25Km/h the motor stops and i keep riding without assist. When i had the Wisper Alpino, i remember that when i reached 25km/h the assist didn't increase but it was still there beneath all the time even if i reaced 45 Km/h. Is that right. is this the way cheap kits work or i can fix it??
  3. I have just finished with my electra electric conversion i will place some pics later. The bike is an Electra Townie 7d in which i put a rear Bafang 250w motor and a 9AH Panasonic Multifit Baterry. everything is ok. The only disturbing is the complete power cut off when i reach 25 Km/h. The motor stops completely and it doesn't starts until i fell under 25KM/H. I thing i can solve this problem if i put a throttle so that i can give electric power whenever i want. What are my problems: 1) The controller has connections for either a Led Display (the classic plastic with the "low - medium- High" mode) or a throttle. I cannot put both. Q: Is there a way i can put both if i change the controller? 2) Q: Is ther an LCD monitor pedal assist that is compatible with bafang motor? 2) There is only one brake stop conection on the controller. Thanks in advance! Q: Is there a controller with both brakes connectors?
  4. BRILLIANTLY easy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx Bob...I opened the controller housing and there was at least 4 inches spare cable inside!!! I easily drawn it up the frame and .......finished...piece of cake!!!! I now have the 2 inches more stem height that i needed!!!!!! Thanks a lot again!!
  5. Well, i have bought my Alpino ( the previous model, not the one on the site now) in August... I am perfectly happy with it, except the fact that the handlebars are in a bit low position for me (although i have raised the handlebar neck at the highest position). That is why i bought a "satori" head raiser. I placed it on the bike but now i have the problem of short wires. The brake wires can easily change but what can i do for the 4 wires that comes out of the front junction connector Does Wisper sells any wire extention compatible with the existing wires??????
  6. Now, i have done 350km. The sounds continue but i am used to it. The Dapush motor looks to work perfectly altough the many different noises it produces I am generally very happy with the bike. It has a lot of power and i get 40- 50km out of a full charged battery in full assist.
  7. Thank you all. i will have the spokes and the brake pads checked.
  8. thank you for replying. in case the motor brakes down after the warranty expires , does anyone know the cost to replace it?
  9. At first i athought it would be that but the sound is not heard in 5km/h nor on 30 km/h, just between 14-17Km/h Furthermore, when i lift the front wheel in the air and spin it with the throttle, then sound is not there. Sthrange thing.
  10. I have just bought the Alpino 906 26". The bike is excellent, i have only made 50Km, but a strange sound is coming from the motor. The sound is metallic, like rubbing one metal to another and always heard between 14 -17 Km/h. Under and over that limit it stops. It is not the usual sound of the hub motor and it does not change the bikes performance in any way. Has Anyone experienced anything like that. DO you believe that it is a motor fault that it will occur at a later time?
