  1. OK thank,s for your reply been looking at this Immobitag looks OK along the same lines as the Datatag but cheaper the only thing is the Datatag comes with a chip hard to fine a place on a bike to put it where the thief would-en fine it so could be a waste of money .

  3. Well went and done it at last ordered my new Oxygen E-mate City electric bike from 50 Cycles should be with me by Wednesday after all the research i have done so cant wait to get it to see if it lives up to it,s good reports that have been written about it keep yous posted
  4. Thank you Oxygen Bicycles it was very reassuring to get your post and you might like to know that it was comments that have made up my mine so i will ordering a oygen stylee-mate citye-mate in silver again thank,s
  5. Thanks eddieo for your advice i think i will go with the oygen stylee-mate citye-mate in sliver and hope i don't have to ship it back under warranty for repair because that alone would cost me £150 that includes the return cost so here hoping.
  6. OK its time to put this issue to bed thank,s for all your replies it was very interesting to here all the comments
  7. That is some price to pay for a Bosch Kalkhoff i know the Kalkhoff is a class bike but how they expect to sell the 2012 range at that price well i thank they are over priced i would not pay the price no mater how good they are.
  8. Could you possible give me some information on this new Bosch model your talking about or tell me the web site i need to go to to get this information please
  9. Like i said in my last post we have only Giant electric bike dealers here and the one in that range is costing me £1650 and i did not want to go to that price but i would have no shipping cost back to the UK mainland if something went wrong. In my price range it,s the Oxygen or the Wisper and as i said in my last post i do like the Oxygen the only thing that is holding me back is the thought of something going wrong we have a good cycle network in and around Belfast and a lot of cycles i would have thought there was a market in N Ireland for companies like Wisper and Oxygen to set up here.
  10. I thinking very strongly of the Oxygen Cytie-mate in Sliver it lighter than the whisper and bigger battery and motor if i have read it right the only problem is that over here in Belfast we have only a few Giant bike dealers and no one else so i if i buy any other make and it develops a fault i have to ship it back to the dealers and that expensive.
  11. Yes i will take on board what Frank says it a lot of money to put out and then find that your not happy with the bike i wont rush in thank,s
  12. Thank,s for the link but they are about 80 miles from me i noted that the whispers is a havery bike than the oxygen bike but a very nice bike.
  13. Yes you got it in one it was the dealer at 50 cycles but i don't believe everything i am told that why i joined Pedelecs so i can get the opinion from people like yourself on this forum as i said it a lot of money to spend and i would like to get it right first time
  14. I am about to buy a oygen stylee-mate citye-mate silver at £1 400 any problems that i should be aware of or is there a better bike at this price i have been told that this a better bike than the Wisper so am i spending my money wisely
  15. Thank,s for your help but i think the bike size would be to big for me as i am only 5.11
  16. Are you sure the frame size is 61cm from the shank to the saddle post i am 5.11 and my bike is only 50cm you must be very tall.
  17. Are you sure the frame size is 61 cm from the shank to the saddle post i am 5.11 and my bike is 50cm you must be very tall.
  18. As i live in N Ireland i would have to come across in my motorhome and that would be about £280 so i would have to look into shipping it across first so i will look into that first
  19. Looks a very good bike why are you selling the bike also what is the frame size and is it collect only or can you ship it.
  20. Hi could you add me to the map please 59 Glendale Park Belfast BT8 6HT Thank,s
  21. QUOTE=dayglowfroggy;119560]I would check out juicy bikes if I was you for the sort of money you want to spend you could have hydrolic brakes and a bigger battery at juicy for the same as those other two . Had a look at the Juicy bikes you were talking about on i think i will stick to my Wisper or the Oxygeen have you read this about the battery on the Juicl bike / There is little danger from a wet battery and ours are designed to cope with riding in the rain, though it is not advised. Contacts on the battery should be dried to avoid oxidation and corrosion which would weaken the ability of the battery to power the bike. Check the contacts every few months and clean if necessary. You could use emery cloth if there is any corrosion
  22. thank,s for your reply hope to get some more opinions on the bikes before making my mine up
  23. Hi as i live in N Ireland the two E Bikes i am looking at don't have dealers here in N Ireland so i will be ordering through the post without trying the bike out so have to get it right. So which one to buy the bikes i am looking at is the/ Wisper 705se and the/ Oxygen Diva Electric Bike from 50 Cycles as my wife and i will be using the bike it,s got to be a step through, So would like some advice on the matter i know that the Oxygen has a smaller battery but have been told that it is a better bike by 50 cycles so is it. Also is the Wisper a British bike i know the oxygen is made in the middle east so which one to buy i know the one i would like but bikers on this forum have a lot of experience and knowledge riding E Bikes and i will take onboard there advice as it is going to cost a lot of money for the bike.
  24. Thank,s for all your reply,s it has give me plenty to think about and if any one else has more information would you pass it on to me please.
