Any Questions?
help needed Hello David Long time no talk, my life has been a bit manic lately! So not been on Pedelec but still love my Wisper!! I have emailed you but now understand you are in China so could be why no response. Mind you hope your email address hasnt changed but I had this post alerted in my emails so thought I would post here directly. I also thought this is quite an apt post in my case as it is not so much a rear wheel re'build but a front one (thank god!) Anyway, to try and cut a long story short I had this huge blow out on my front wheel about 3 Fridays ago and and the blow out took out the wheel rim as well. It was a very very hot day and I am confident it was the tyre pressure expanding and not the wheel which resulted in the decimation of my front wheel! lol! I was on the pavement going real slow so no harm done and I was between 2 pubs at the time and a few shouts went up as it was a very loud bang to say the least and sounded like a gun shot! :0). Anyway, I am currently riding on a borrowed wheel and have been trawling the net to try and find a front wheel with the eight hole disc requirement and can't find one that'll match the back tyre enough for the life of me . I would even lose the flames which is a shame cos I like them but just can't find anything like it and am being badgered to give the front wheel back to the owner Are you able to help me with my dilema and give me a price for a replacement? If not the same, then are you able to point me in the direction of a supplier which stocks similar wheels? I really dont want my lovely Wisper to look odd so any help would be very much appreciated. Many Thanks and hope you are well and all is going well in the world of Wisper? I continue to enjoy and depend on my old faithful which has been going very well up until now. Regards Mandy

Someone make this snow go away!!
[quote) As a novice rider I don't want to scare the beezeezus out of myself by risking a snowy ride but I think there is is a limit to the fun I can have riding up and down the hall! priscilla Hi Priscilla I too haven't been able to ride my Wisper SE due to the awful weather even down here in Farnborough Hants! You will love it when you finally get out and about!! I wouldn't be without mine! Had it two years now and I can't fault it! The guys at Wisper are great too I haven't posted for a while but am back now. Let us know how you get on Mandy

Someone make this snow go away!!
I Really hate this weather! Hi Eddieo Blimey I haven't been on here for a while Here too, gridlocked this morn but fortunately had a lift but last Wednesday was like a ghost town while the Taxi safely took me to work all be it half hour late. I was one of 18 out of 200 odd in the office that day and the other 180 odd got paid!! Mmmmm but may be getting a bottle of bolly and my taxi paid? I haven't been riding my trusty Wisper SE for couple of weeks due to a couple of nasty falls last year on the ice which put me off! Roll on spring or at least non icy conditions so I can enjoy my bike again!! Mandy

playing dvd and recording vcr through a skybox
Hi Musicbooks If you have an extra scart in your TV you could run a lead to your VCR and toggle it through the normal way to the VCR channel. When setting up they won't supply the extra cables so they wouldn't give you that option Footies option is good and both will cost you but worth it in the end Regards

The economics of a 10 year old.
Sounds logical to me Footie Would you go out and buy your own clothes

Moped anybody?
Sorry didn't like it either What's not been mentioned also is the use we have on our e-bikes on cycle ways and shared paths. I kind of think this sort of bike would not be welcome there Whilst I rode scooters for years and enjoyed them, I really like the freedom of where you can ride on a pedelec and don't have to think of where you can't ride, apart from a motorway of course And of course the cheapness of running and the keeping fit aspect is a definite plus! Regards

Ahh? So what part of the country are you from Musicbooks? Well if some snood jimmied on my stash, I'd give them a swift biscuits and cheese up the Tom thumb down the apples and pears. Then get on my Haddock and bloater clever mike and get back to my cat and mouse to my cherry hog, scratch his auntie nelly and have an aristotle of britney spears in front of the custard and jelly and say a weavers chair No it didn't, cos didn't understand a word of it, lol but nice to chew the fat but must go to my uncle ted

Hi Bode Ahh? Snood : Designs on Scottish Cashmere Bonny Scotland lol Snood : Designs on Scottish Cashmere Who's Webster? lol Is that the old testament to the snood? When I put it in google it come's out with wooly things mainly, apart from Webster's and this one below which is a little worrying Protec Direct | Lion+Haircare | Beard Snood | Disposable Workwear | Protective Workwear | Personal Protection PPE | The above is a man's snood, dare any of you guys to wear that on your leccy bike I guess it is how words change over the years and can mean different things eh? Mine is definitely a wooly/fleecy thing. Agree and disagree all at the same time, well that's a change He wouldn't get it cos there is no "Z" lol (sorry Keith) Regards Mandy

Oops, I thought "Free Lights" were because they were free lights as in light up when pedalling by motion only Now I think I'm tired. I will have to google them. I found some of those dust cover lights for bikes on the net and believe they are not for road use anyway I think I have seen them on boy racers cars on occasions, yikes Good concept for being seen but maybe a bit posey? Plus possibly illegal? Tirefly Flashing Dust Caps Schrader Valve Fit (Pair) £9.99-Discount Bicycles Ltd. God I need to hit the duvet!!

Agreed Me too Speaking of pedals of the lighted kind, I would get some if the pedal were a better shape like Mussells said. Plus whilst we are on the subject of free lights, I'm sure I have seen light up dust caps somewhere? Or is that just on cars? Or is that just my imagination?

Hi Bode You're havin a laff aren't you? A snood is a tubular scarf/balaclava thingy which is generally made of fleece. I pull it down over my head and have it covering the lower part of my face and neck so it acts like a scarf but won't fall off like an ordinary one. You can even wear it as a sort of hat and scarf thingy but I don't go that far. Hair net indeed! lol Here is an example below for men or women Bottle Green SNOOD Fleece Hat Ear Neck Warmer Ski Sport - eBay (item 180307340891 end time Dec-17-08 12:56:20 PST) Regards Mandy

More battery supplier questions...
Hi Blew it Oh God! Must admit I didn't add that info of making sure the key was not in the on position but hoped it would not need to be said but these things can happen if not aware of the consequences You are right of course if anyone attempts this please do ensure battery is not engaged and if it is, don't blame me please Thanks for that Blew it

''That's Cheating''!
Hi Bob Nib? I like that word

''That's Cheating''!
Hey Tenderbehind Yes it has been aired before but it is always a good topic for discussion I too have had the same shouts of "cheat" but I think in my cases it has been on a humourous level I normally say: bet you wish you had one and sail on by There could be some genuine animosity but I haven't come across it yet in an obvious way and when I do I will fling back a few words as I comfortably leave them for dust and will be sure they won't catch me! Happy Biking Mandy
