  1. I'm sure that I read this week that Paddy was given a Knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. I think that there was a spare one going as Fred the Shred had generously donated his gong as being surplus to requirements. I wonder how long Paddy will be able to hang on to his honour ? Well done Indalo ! I enjoyed that. Best regards to all from Rotary....The Black Shadow.
  2. I don't suppose a modification kit would be considered feasible at some future stage for DIY or Dealer fitting ? First things first, I suppose eh ? Anyway, your active involvement in such matters is much appreciated. Regards from a delighted new 905se owner. Rotary & The Black Shadow.
  3. That information is so helpful.Thank you. The real bonus here,I think, is that a dreaded chore has been turned into light entertainment & can only benefit us all ! I often think it is easier to learn something when there is an element of humour attached. Just watch my grin when I get my first rear - tyre puncture in many years ! :o Aye that'l be right. Does a handbook come with the bike ? Because I'm just thinking all of this kind of practical information should be incorporated in some forthcoming revised owners manual. Comments welcome.
  4. Hello Goryl, Well that's just great news. I could see that Davanti was very anxious for you. Also that Smudger1956 & killjoy came to the rescue with brilliant detailed instructions. I am interested to know whose approach you followed e.g:- Did you take the rear wheel fully out or not ? I would like to know these things 'cos one of these days.....it will happen to me ! Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience with us. Yours Aye, rotary.

My goodness You are a Star ! Most helpful info. I seem to be chasing about the forum trying to communicate (got a lot o learning to do) and here you are all the time. Thanks for your help & encouragement. I hope to start pedelecing soon. Both contributions most useful & appreciated. Yours Aye, rotary.
  6. Hello Davanti, I have been reading your queries/comments with interest & am pleased that you now have your new bike. I have a feeling you have been so busy with matters that you haven,t had time to fit that new mirror.I am keen to know if your handle bar end is the same as the 905se & if you managed to fit the mirror without cutting into the grip. I have posted this query on another thread relating to mirrors & hoping not to cause confusion. Keep Smiling,Regards, rotary.

Thanks gray for your very quick response. You have actually touched on the reason for my query.I had noticed an earlier comment which related to the probable need to cut a hole in the end of the bar. I just thought there might be a better way if there was a removable plug in the bar grip end. I realise the surgery is minor but you've got to be brave to approach a new bike with a stanley knife ! Many tks again for your help. Yours Aye, rotary.

I,m wondering how Davanti got on with fitting the mirror to his new Wisper? I think many handlebar grips come with a plug in the end of them. Presumably, they can be taken out & the mirror arm pushed in & tightened up etc? Mind you, I can't believe it,s that simple. Advice would be much appreciated before I place an order for a mirror of the type suggested. It does look the business.By the way, I have learned a great deal from this forum.I am glad to join. Many thanks.
