  1. We are just down the road from you in Kidderminster if you fancy trying some of the Emotion bikes- Like you say, they may well be above budget for you,but you are still welcome to come and have a play with the different models if you like, and see what's available in the different ranges. It might help you determine which second hand bike to go for....
  2. Lol...i'm not one to "out" people, but it can be narrowed down to one of the 7 brands we stock-I'm hoping it's just a brochure typeo, and have asked the question of the perpetrator to find out-in fairness i think it may be,as it is very different to their other bikes weights...but it's nice to be able to tell the customers the correct weights without going around the shop weighing them all!
  3. Just out of interest, has anyone bothered to accurately weigh their bikes, and compare them to the "Official" weight? Every non kit bike i've weighed is at least 1.5-3kg's heavier than the quoted weight-with and without battery included they are never accurate. I've tried 2 sets of Digital scales with roughly the same results(0.1/0.2 difference) It would be nice if the Manufacturers would do it properly,so i didn't have to....
  4. Hello Puffin Bikes, I would suggest that you take a look at Ezee bikes or Wisper for a Motor wheel variant,as the parts are easily replaceable-and they both have good strong motors and a decent capacity battery too.... If Crank drive is more your thing,BH Emotion do a powerful Panasonic driven variety-which are comfortable and user friendly-i would suggest Derailleur gear systems over Hub as the change is more immeadiate, more users are familiar with derailleur and it's much easier to repair/maintain-though Hub needs less maintenance.
  5. Would appreciate that ,thanks
  6. Thanks John, but even the wonderous Ebay is struggling with this one.....
  7. Can anyone help me source 28" Forks with a 1" steerer-suspension with disc tabs-able to take 28"Ezee motor wheel? Must be cheap,as it's a cobble together project...might have to settle for 26" but with the above spec..... Having a nightmare.
  8. This is the best Trike i've ridden, due to it's tilting action making it feel more contollable like a "real"bike. Sold by 50 cycles Electric Bikes - Comfort - Veliac Three Electric Tricycle
  9. We at Onbike are impressed with the overall build quality of all the Ave bikes we've seen, they do feel better than some other brands that are priced in a similar bracket. Though i would like definitive information concerning their origin of build,as i'm pretty sure i've seen on the bike that they are "manufactured in the European Community" or something similar-i shall look into it further when i get a chance...i may be mistaken.
  10. I have ridden both of these bikes recently out and about the Worcestershire countryside, and they both feel very competent bikes. I'd say the Neo has the edge in power, but is slightly less refined than the XH-3(as Direct drive always is in comparison to Crank drive in my opinion) The extra gearing on the Neo is nice to have for unassisted cycling-though unessential for assisted. I have only compared Bosch systems on different wheel sized bikes(20",26",28")and they obviously feel/handle differently...but i haven't had chance to compare two 26"Bosch systems against each other yet.
  11. Just to inform,Emotion haven't dropped their crank drive bikes...they have actually added to the range of Bosch,Panasonic and Hub driven bikes.
