  1. My range fell drastically, I didn't go out.
  2. That reminds me of Groucho Marks saying, "This is so simple, a 7-year-old could do it. Go find a seven-year-old, I can't make head nor tails of it".
  3. The way I struggle with computers these days, I think I'll give 3D printing a miss. Shame, sounds brilliant.
  4. I hate to say it, but you are becoming more English each year.
  5. I had no problem selling a couple of bikes via these pages. Both mid-engines, a Riese & Muller Delite & a Haibike. Both with Bosch motors and many thousands done. I have a Tern & it'd the nicest bike to ride, but not as powerful as the Homage. Good luck.
  6. I can't remember details, there was a TV documentary that explained it all.
  7. Eyewitness accounts of the colour of the initial explosion. A totally different colour to what Hydrogen burns. But it's nasty stuff.
  8. Slowly, it came to me that the top shelf magazines of the times ran spoof adverts. Remember the Pepsi one 'thirst quenching... I forget the words, but the spoof ad had 'gut rotting or some such. I bet this is one of those, I thought them funny at the time.
  9. It's been proven that it was a bomb that caused tragedy.
  10. The Sci-Fi film & TV series 'Logan's Run' had the answer.
  11. The difference between an optimist & a pessimist is.... experience.
  12. The forecast I remember is we will all have jetpacks, I was so disappointed it not happening. But with today's people, perhaps it's as well.
  13. I bet that lot makes riding a bike difficult.
  14. Funny, but I do think he is far more competent than the previous three.
  15. But it's a one use only, isn't it?
  16. I did have problems with a Grace MX, it's on here somewhere. I still don't know if it was Gates or NuVinci who were at fault, but the sprocket would fail. I had a refund and continued with the same shop who gave brilliant service. I have a belt drive bike now and like OleP, it is my preference over a chain.
  17. Gosh, I feel your pain. It hurts a lot more in old age. Now I worry as I have a Vektron, not that I use it much. Keep us informed on how you go on with it.
  18. At least, with the Three Stooges and Laurel & Hardy, you could have a good laugh.
  19. No one has stated the obvious, let's go back in history to the time when the man with the red flag was around. It worked, though there were consequences. But today, these people who run could serve a useful purpose to us cyclists by warning the pedestrians and other road users that we were coming. It's a good an idea, as some being mentioned.
  20. Would wearing a helmet have saved the walker's life?
  21. I'm sure it's been said on here before, but as someone once remarked "All mushrooms are edible, but some only once"
