  1. Hello all, I would like to know if anyone has fitted a dropper seat post to a Riese & Muller Superdelite, and if so what were the measurements. Specifically the part that fits down into the seat tube, and what problems were encountered, if any when fitting it. I learned after buying it that I should have specified one when ordering the bike.
  2. Hello all, I've been reading up about the Speedbox tuning dongles of late and at first I thought "WOW" this is great, but after reading a few reviews about them, I would think twice about purchasing one. Examples of the motor going into limp mode after so many miles, mainly with Bosch motors, not sure about Yamaha, Shimano or Brose. Has anybody had any such experiences with one of these Dongles?
  3. Guess what!, I had no sooner posted my query when I came across a brake light that is activated by a speed sensor, i.e. when you slow down and stop it lights up, no wiring to be done other than the supply to power the tail light itself. Suffice to say I purchased it and it works really well. Litecco is the brand name. More recently I discovered that Trelock have introduced one as well.
  4. Hello all. I've noticed in recent years that speed pedalecs "german ones" in particular, that is, come with an integrated brake light. I think this feature would be a good addition on my own bike, which is not a speed pedalec but a standard 250w Bosch powered bike. The problem is I am not aware of a kit with the necessary wiring and switches needed to install such a feature is readily available on the market, if at all. I see aftermarket kits online but they look bulky. I'm looking for something that can be integrated into the existing wiring system.
  5. Thank you, I'll get in touch with my dealer straight away, and yes, my bike has the Bosch Performance motor.
  6. I have a Haibike trekking Pro which I bought in 2015. I'd love to upgrade the voltage from 6 volts to 12 going to the front light as in their latest bikes which come with a Lupine SL B. Would this be pretty straight forward to do, provided I obtain the correct converter/inverter, if indeed there is such an item. Your views and /or advice would be very grateful. Tonto.
  7. Hello Flecc. Just to update you on matters. I turned around the drive sprocket and gave the chain a good lube. I am pleased at how much quitter my bike runs now, however it didn't eliminate the noise completely. Is the idler sprocket prone to the same wear as the drive sprocket?, if so, should I turn it around or replace it for a new one?. If the noise still persists, all be it to a lesser degree, it must be from inside the motor. A sincere Thank you for your help. Tonto55
  8. Hi Flecc. Thank you so much for that info. I think I might really be onto something here. I'll keep you informed as to how I get on. Regards Tonto55
  9. Hi Gerry. My Pro Connect has the same clicking/racketing noise as you describe. I find it most pronounces when the system is under load like cycling uphill, starting off and changing to a higher gear. It appears to come from the drive sprocket on the motor which is a Panasonic. I have 5400km done on it so far. Regards Tonto55
  10. Hi Gerry. I am experiencing very similar noised from my Pro Connect which has a Panasonic motor. It is particularly noticeable when the system is under load like going uphill, starting off or changing to a higher gear. I suspect it is the drive sprocket but my worst fears would that the noise is from within the motor. Regards Tonto55
  11. Hello Vassa, I know it's over three years since your post about noise from Panasonic motor. I am experiencing very similar noises on my bike. I can only describe as a racheting clicking noise and only when the system comes under load like cycling up hill or changing up a gear. Have you any suggestions as to what I can do to stop this irritating noise? Regards Tonyo55
