  1. It was a pleasure doing business with you Carl. The good lady loves it. Thanks for the cuppa, stem and bars. Cheers, Darren.
  2. Hi Gringo, PM sent
  3. You can pre-order a 2017 model (sizes small, medium and large) for 3k. XL is available now, but fair point. You might want to put the size, some photos and suggest a lower price if you want to generate some genuine interest here. The price is a bit rich for me but good luck with the sale.
  4. A new one is £3000. http://www.wheelies.co.uk/p95709/Specialized-Turbo-Levo-Hardtail-Comp-CE-6Fattie-27-5-2017-Mountain-Bike.aspx?sku=343825&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=prod_ads&gclid=CI2Opv-ZhdECFVQ_Gwoda_MBRA Why pay £2850 for a 6 month old one with no backup from the supplier? On top of that, you want full payment before you even let the buyer see the machine?
  5. Hi D8veh He wants the 201 rpm motor. He's not after a high top speed and he'll be running at fairly low amps.
  6. Morning all, A friend is looking for Q100CST motor for a 700c rim. Before he orders one from BMS, does anybody have one for sale in the UK? A suitable controller would also be great.
  7. Hi. Is it easy enough to fugue out which wire is which etc, due to the lack of plug? 119 / 120 should be just about be OK. I was running 127mm, but I can always modify the swing arm if required. You might have seen the bike it's going on over at ES. If you let me know how much you want etc, we can sort it out. PM if it suits. Cheers, Darren.
  8. Okeydokey. Keep me posted.
  9. Hi D8veh, That would be great. Any idea on the width? If you find it, let me know how much and I'll send some cash over you way. The CA cable would be great if you can find that as well. Cheers, Darren.
  10. Hi Folks, Has anybody sound a source of Thun Torque Sensor BB's in Europe? I'm struggling to find one other than over at Grin Tech in Canada.

Sorry, I was not correct in my last post. This is not the one with the latest fets.

    Hi, Yes it is.

Hi Folks, I have a BBS02 for sale. I've covered maybe 500 miles with this one. I bought it new myself from BMS Battery. It was used on my roadbike for a short time. I reprogrammed it to 18A in the interest of longevity. I also used EM3EVs settings as these were much nicer as the initial take off was less aggressive. When I bought it I ordered a spare pair of crank arms as I heard that there was sometimes an issue with the pedal threads. It is in perfect working order. Pick up from Warwickshire or I can post at the buyers expense. £250.
  15. The issue is that some lithium ion chemistries produce their own oxygen when they burn. I've worked with cells that do this, and when they start to burn, there is not much to be done other than retire to a safe distance. This is a bit tricky in certain situations, ie on an aircraft.
  16. I put a post up on ES and got a response. It's an Ultra Motor (hence the UM cast into the surface). The motor does split in the middle (requires the rim to be unlaced). The motor also contains the controller.
  17. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I don't have a photo of the opposite side at the moment. It is the same though, with no fixings. There are 6 indents on each side to engage a tool to spin each half in opposite directions. I have seen a post of this motor being disassembled in the past, probably on ES, but can't find it.
  18. Hi Folks, Does anybody recognize this hub motor? It belongs to a friend. He bought it with a box of e-bike bits. It is slightly unusual in that it looks like it splits into to halves rather than a centre with two covers. Any help appreciated.
  19. Hi Boz, I'm located just outside Leam, on the Fosse. I'm ridding a BBS02 road bike at the moment but have a slightly more interesting bike in build at the moment. How are you getting on with the new bike?
  20. A quick question about pack balancing. I have a 20s pack one of my bikes. When the bike is not in use I have an Anderson Powerpole loop disconnect. This results in two 10s packs. I only have a BC168 balance charger at the moment. Is it ok to balance charge half of a 10s pack, then the other half after that? I hope that this makes sense. Cheers.
  21. Hi Gents, Thanks for your replies. Cheers, Darren.
  22. Hi Folks, This is a bit of an odd one. I've built up a new pack (7s x 2) for one of my bikes and one group of cells (EIG 20Ah) sit upon another in the frame. Photo attached. The balance leads for the lower pack are something like 400mm long. Is it ok to have a have a set of slightly shorter leads for the upper pack, say 300mm long? This is so that the leads end up at the same place and length as they come out of the box, without being bunched up inside. Cheers, Darren.
  23. Hi Folks, The lead arrived yesterday (Monday), so that's less than three full working days from the US to my front door. I'll fire up the laptop tonight and have a play.
  24. Hi, thanks for the reply. Just before you posted, I ordered a lead from EMPowered Cycles in the US ($35 delivered). I'll let every body know how I get on.
  25. Thanks Michael, I'll drop Reinhard a mail and see how much a programming lead for the BBS02 will be. Cheers, Darren.
