Trek bb95 conversion
I searched the internet but still cannot find a straight answer. I there a conversion kit to fit a mid motor to a trek with a bb95 bottom bracket? If so who produces them. Everywhere seem to go around the houses then talks about other types of bottom brackets. I’ve seen a couple of vids showing trek bikes with bafang mid motors but they don’t say how they did it. Info much appreciated. dennis

Mine is a barrel connector like the one in the pic, I believe it's five pin (need to check) however it's all irrelevant if I cannot find someone who has them to ask the the questions.

my wife's French made easybike has a Chinese six speed display. Looks like most others with four buttons down the l/h side with power, speed, assistance setting etc. The four buttons are getting sticky very hard to work. Can I get a replacement and would a five speed work as most I've seen on bike seem to be five? Advice would be appreciated, can supply a pic if needed. Thanks. Ps tried easybike but no help.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Many many thanks to d8veh for help in sorting the bike out. It was the pas at fault...... And the 2nd one was too and that put me off course. The 3rd was tested by d8veh prior to me fitting and was of a different design (big orange block rather than a tube end). I was at my wits end when that didn't work however after a 2nd look I noticed because it was a different design the chain guard bracket was interfering with it. After I ground 10mm off the bracket the motor burst into life!! Mrs dctyke is happy now, thanks again D.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
That would be really really good of you, I can send the lcd, controller x 2 and the loom. I will put money in the package. Will you be emailing your address to me? Regards Dennis- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
If I could find your email I would have. What I was going to ask can you reccomended (or possibly sell me) a controller which does not require anything at the hub and a handlebar control to suit.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
D8veh, any chance you could pm me? Ta- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Then walk mode only works with the hall sensor pins in the position I wired them. If I try swopping the 5v and signal wire walk mode will not work. Today I refitted the original sensor that I thought was not working, it gives the same voltages as the new one. Does this mean the fault could be else ware. I've tried a replacement pedal assist sensor and controller with no luck. Is it possible the LCD could be at fault?- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp

I will try that. In the mean time something for you...... If I press the two middle buttons together on the C300 LCD the motor runs without me having to turn the pedals even though it has a pas sensor on the crank? Pic of LCD in earlier mail above.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
With the signal disconnected it remains 4.75 throughout wheel rotation. All of the plugs are unique and cannot be connected wrongly.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
I was hoping to not have to dis-assemble the rear hub and de-solder again. I am happy not to have the speedo working. The controller must run sensor less as it did work with the plug undone prior to me trying to fix the speedo. Somehow connecting the speed sensor with the new hall changed something in the controller. I have read about controllers that 'learn' connections, I am hoping to return it to as it was but have no idea how to.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
It was replaced with a Honeywell SS41 as reccomended as a general use sensor for ebikes, no idea what original was. Not withstanding this the bike was working with the whole plug disconnected, now it isn't.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Thanks for getting back. Red and black 4.75v. Black and green 1.97v with a 2.12v pulse. Not counting the 3 thick wires there are 3 thin wires connected to a single sensor which is triggered by a magnet fixed to the inside of the hub cover.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Right folks, the story continues. I found that if I disconnected the hall sensor plug at the controller the bike would work. When I took the cover off the rear hub motor I expected to see 3 hall sensors however there was only one. I thought it must be a sensor for the speed display. I replaced the sensor with a new Honeywell one. On start up the bike worked but the LCD displayed everything it could. I disconnected the hall sensor plug again but then the bike would not work, reconnected and still won't work. Do I have a 'sensing controller'? And how do I reset it.- 36v controller
Thanks sacko however would prefer one I could buy in uk if possible.- 36v controller

Tried undoing and re-connecting by the wheel, no luck. If it helps the plug has 3 large pins and 5 smaller ones below. The pic below is my LCD- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Yes I do- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
Thanks for the reply trax. This model does not use magnet on spoke and the LCD takes it's power though a loom.- Easybike easycity 36v 10amp
