July 9, 201213 yr Hello guys, Just seen that the UK wharehouse for Hobby King just opened, you can check it in the website: HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : I'm hoping for price similar to US with super low shipping cost. Low cost nano-tech, zippy compact or super low cost Turnigy... are my wish for the upcoming weeks/months. In the US they can have a 44V10AH lipo battery shipped for less than £100 (buy 6 of them): HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy 5000mAh 4S1P 14.8v 20C hardcase pack (USA Warehouse) Seriously, where else can we have such a price?? If they can do the same thing in the UK, we will finally have low cost quality and low weight battery for our ebikes Praying strooong! lol Edited July 9, 201213 yr by cwah
July 9, 201213 yr Excellent, if they keep the prices reasonable. Of course, they aren't daft and know the UK market is quite lucrative, so just like every other enterprise they might jack their prices up so that it's just worth your while to buy from them and weigh up the benefit of a local supplier versus the extra cost of shipping duds back further afield.
July 10, 201213 yr Cool - not a lot in the warehouse atm. I've already got 63v10ah of Lipo on my ebike that I got from the cn warehouse last year - still going strong. Fancy another 63v5ah to parallel in - it'd be nice if I could get it from the UK.

Don't take the default shipping price btw, there's a cheaper option on the payment page that still got mine delivered 2 days after shipping. Geoff
February 11, 201313 yr Yup, thought I got a good deal on 4 *6s lipo at hobbyking UK at bout £30 per but for some reason buying 4s maybe the cheaper way to go. It's either that or thinking ahead!
February 11, 201313 yr I don't know why this particular 4s pack is comparatively cheap, (around £15 apiece if you get the discount), I've had 6 of them now with no bad cells as yet and the hardcase is a good option for ebike packs. Also putting them in 2 x series (for 8s) gives around 33v which makes my 24v setup much more entertaining...! Geoff.
February 12, 201313 yr 4s is just more popular - so they sell more of them. Simply economies of scale.
