Quite right, Flecc, I am getting my threads mixed up. My own cause for repeated complaint is the replacement battery question and the contempt with whch it has been treated. I should keep my comments to threads related to that.

Thanks Django, but no call for an apology since there was nothing wrong in your expressed opinion, just some difference between us on the issue.

 

Jeanette has posted on this replacement battery issue and has had the problem solved for her, so perhaps hers is the suitable course to obtain satisfaction on that.

 

That said, I think each affected should contact 50cycles individually first to check the availability of the replacement before adopting that course.

Of course they should Simon. It's not that but the unpleasant and sometimes even spiteful way in which this debate has been conducted in various threads that makes it objectionable.

 

I think there's far to much of lately in this forum, and I for one find obsessively conducted consumer complaints sterile and often objectionable. As said, by all means let those affected inform us of a situation for the benefit of all, but otherwise it's a matter between them and their supplier.
