April 5, 201412 yr Ditto on the mirror front, I can only admire myself in mine :-) must extend it somehow this weekend.
July 25, 201411 yr Author http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/25/ubety4u7.jpg I've changed the handlebars on my Woosh Zephyr CDN for 'swept back' tourng design. Nice!
July 25, 201411 yr Author I've changed the saddle on my Woosh Zephyr CDN for the biggest sprung design that i could find. Nice!http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/25/5eja2e6e.jpg
July 26, 201411 yr Author http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/27/mahade5y.jpg Wendy and Billy enjoy their daily walk. The only way i can get up this hill is on my Woosh Zephyr CDN.
July 27, 201411 yr Author PLEASE take no notice of my previous comments regarding my wireless indicators. I have now found them to be totally unreliable. They are DANGEROUS! Do not use them as an alternative to hand signals. It is 'hit & miss' whether they turn on or turn off and, unless you get off and check, you will not know. The bleeper cannot be heard when you are moving. I now only use mine for the flashing back light and the hazard warning lights option. Do not use as indicators and i would be very wary of any others that are wireless. Edited July 27, 201411 yr by GloveMakingMan
July 28, 201411 yr Author Thanks to my Woosh Zephyr CDN i am now able to reach the top of this very steep hill and look down on my hometown of Bideford in North Devon.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/29/hupape8a.jpg
July 28, 201411 yr On top of the world - in more ways than one, then I find one of the best things about my ebike, is that I actually go looking for high places rather than looking for alternative routes avoiding climbs.
July 29, 201411 yr Author The only way is up! With a few 1 in 4 hills along the way, a bit of pedal assist is obviously required. I wonder just how strong the chain really is!? Bideford, North Devon. August 3, 201411 yr Author That's better. No more lugging my bike up steps and indoors. This Wickes bike shed fits my Woosh Zephyr CDN perfect. I've lined it with greenhouse bubble wrap to keep the damp air out.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/03/jyga9uhy.jpg
August 3, 201411 yr Author I've been reading about members problens with clunking gears. I had that problem with my Woosh Zepyhr CDN with Nexus 3 gears once the cable had stretched a little and settled in. It was easily fixed. Select second gear and check to see that pointer is dead centre between the two lines. If not, loosen lock-nut and adjust with the knurled adjuster. A small adjustment can make a lot of difference. Easy! Note - always cut the motor power by slightly sqeezing one of the brake levers before changing gear.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/03/vy3emeza.jpg Edited August 4, 201411 yr by GloveMakingMan
November 3, 201411 yr Author This is how Zephyr CDN looks today, 7 months later. There is not much more i can do to it now but i am thinking of increasing the range by bolting on a bigger battery somewhere. I would have done a review but members must post 25 times before being permitted to do so, it will be a long time coming! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/11/03/f45f342de1ab710affe95aedea334e3b.jpg
November 3, 201411 yr it's very easy to plug in a bigger battery into the Zephyr-CDN. Just plug the output cable of second battery into the charger port, Batt+ to the middle tap, Batt- to the outer tap of the jack connector. The internal BMS will transfer power from the external battery to the internal one.

November 4, 201411 yr Rain water may be a problem but then, the chances that you need to ride in pouring rain with external battery on should not be high. You don't need another charger if you get a second battery with the same DC charging socket. Whichever battery you buy, you need to make a DC lead with right angle DC jack, from memory, I think 5.5mm by 2.5mm to plug into the charging port of the Zephyr. The lead does not have to be thick, 10A rating is more than enough. My guess if you just want to double the range, then the same Zephyr battery would be the cheapest option. Otherwise, if you convert another bike then use the other bike's battery - only have to make the lead.
November 4, 201411 yr Author Thanks for the info, this will be my next mod. Don't think getting another CDN battery would be ideal as it's long and in two parts. I've seen batteries in a case with straps somewhere. Thanks, i didn't realise it was going to be so simple.

April 29, 201510 yr Hi, I also recently acquired a CDN, awesome machine. However I'm too happy with the comfort of the grips. I see you're not using the original, what did you go for?
April 29, 201510 yr Back to indicators I'm waiting on these being back in stock http://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Multi-function-Turn-signal-SmartControl-accessories/dp/B00PRTMMUK
May 6, 201510 yr Got mine, now reduced here http://www.7dayshop.com/products/7dayshop-waterproof-rechargeable-intelligent-rear-indicator-bike-light-WH2-CM-002 Very bright, the horn is really loud and the indicators work really well. Rechargeable via USB and the light detects vibration and light so only comes on when the bike is moving and only stays on constant at night. After 3 minutes of bike being still the light goes off. Controller looks like a bell, not sure how long the indicator stalk will last but so far so good. http://www.7dayshop.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1500x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/s/ds-124-03_1_1_1_1.jpg
