I've finally found something quite secure and reliable to put a decent battery pack in:

But it cost £50 without customs charge, it would probably end up even higher once received.

 

Anyone know where I can buy this in the uk for decent price? Or something similar in term of convenience and security?

The price is £27.82 + shipping of £14 to the UK so a total price of £41.82 and there are no custom charges as its from Estonia which is now part of the EU.

Thanks for clarification. I didn't notice it was from estonia. However it's still pricey for a top box. Wondering if I can find better price

I've seen this one, but finish is not as good, it does look a bit more flimsy, and the key issue is that this box is not quick release

I have one on my bike got mine from Amazon. Though without the quick release plate. Whilst the brackets supplied hold the back on to the rack it still moved about bit and I had to drill a few holes and used cable ties to hold it. The lock is not sturdy and it is easly opened with a knife if you forget your key. It's ideal for carrying bike locks and pump and it's has a A4 size footprint. But I would not leave valuables in it unattended.

Yes but most thieves would probably think it's something cheap like gloves or else and wouldn't try to steal it

Any idea of the price? I can only imagine it as overpriced
