February 18, 201511 yr Haibike Trekking 2015 model. It has the round raise things I need to be able to raise the height perhaps on the journey I need to adjust height easily (lever?) to best position due to bad back varying in pain daily I would also like to adjust the bring forward / move further away bit at top as well. I used to have the perfect thing with my KTM Macina 2013 as an aftermarket addition but that would not fit my 2014 model which had a different diameter stem. I am aware that cabling will need to be renewed due to height issues but that is a problem for later I just need to find an adjustable stem (with lever) that also can be adjusted at top for moevement forward / back also. Will this fit a Haibike |Trekking 2015? http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/speedlifter-twist-plus/aid:636640 Is there a cheaper alternative?
February 18, 201511 yr I ordered this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mountain-bike-stem-lengthen-riser-increased-device-elevator-riser-elevator-20/1540934804.html You can follow my dahon thread and see if it fits for you once received
February 18, 201511 yr You have an ahead set style set up. Which is how most modern bikes come. The quill stems suggested by Jonathan75 will not work. There are lots of companies who make replacement stems in a while host of different rises and reaches. We and many others make adjustableones like this http://www.shop.flidistribution.co.uk/p/stem-ktm-line-adjustable-25-4-90-bs?pp=12 You just need to find out what size handlebars you have.
February 18, 201511 yr Jonathan75 with the greatest of respect, please stop posting recommendation of things that will not work. Wissy has a modern bike with an aheadset system, quill stems like you are linking to will not work and are not suitable.

February 19, 201511 yr Hmm - I can't see Jonathan75 posting in this thread? He probably deleted his posts in response to the correction. .
February 19, 201511 yr Yes, he's deleted the incorrect posts, which were confusing things. This forum would benefit from some moderation really that could delete posts that are just totally incorrect and confuse anyone reading.
