April 1, 201610 yr I have had only good experience of ebay. Twice things that I ordered did not arrive, when I contacted the sellers they did not respond, so I opened a dispute that was settled in my favour.
April 1, 201610 yr Most people on Ebay are honest, as a seller I have had buyers say that things haven't been delivered so I give a refund straight away ~ only to hear from them a couple of weeks later to say it has turned up and they offer to refund my refund.
April 1, 201610 yr Author I think a lot depends on what you're selling.. Computers and phones are a really dodgy area, whereas I sell camera covers and it would seem that photographers are an honest bunch..
April 1, 201610 yr quick question how do i set my dslr to take pic after pic and fill the mem card? i can do it but takes 12 pics and stops. Edited April 1, 201610 yr by soundwave
April 1, 201610 yr Author quick question how do i set my dslr to take pic after pic and fill the mem card? You can only take consecutive shots until you hit the buffer when it will slow down and stop until it's finished writing the last file. Depending on the camera .. I would tether to a laptop and use software to do it. I haven't done that for a while but can dig out a few links if it would help.
April 1, 201610 yr Author nikon d3200 thought a sd card was faster than usb? Mine have all been canon and I always shoot raw so the files take a lot of writing. You said you want to set it to shoot continously. Well I don't know how nikon work but if I wanted to do that I would connect to a laptop either by usb or an ad hock network and use Software To program the camera to shoot at set times for as long as you want. I have a little gadget that allows wireless live view with full remote control from a phone or tablet. I can set the camera up outside and remotely pan and tilt taking shots as and when by creating it's own network that the camera connects to. I assume it would work with nikon but I don't know. How much money have you got spare? Bit late now but will get some info together and pm you tomorrow....
April 1, 201610 yr my image size is 6016x4000 jpeg fine does raw as well but makes 2 files. is it a faster mem card i need or more space as cant lug all that round with me be pita.
April 2, 201610 yr Author A lot depends in what you are wanting to do. It should do jpeg, jpeg+raw or raw on its own. Why do you want it to shoot continously until the card is full.
April 2, 201610 yr Author Morning SW, Regarding your question late last night you cant take photos faster than your camera can write the file. using a faster card and reducing the file size (resolution) will help but wont fix it. I am on the pc now so here are a few options, but I suspect you wont really want to do this.. When I was in my "photographer" phaze I had a Canon 5D mk2 and used the "Magic Lantern" firmware hack to open up other possibilities which included bitrates but was mostly aimed at video enhancement, but have been out of that for 3 years now so dont know whats in there now, and now there is a Nikon option.. https://fstoppers.com/video/nikonhacker-brings-magic-lantern-style-firmware-hacks-nikon-9601 Beware you may brick your camera doing this!! Also I purchased a "Camranger" https://www.parkcameras.com/p/9306175W/screen-accessories/camranger/wireless-camera-control Which makes your camera wifi by creating its own ad hock network which you can log in to on your phone/ipad/pc/lappy and when using this there are apps and programs that will do exactly what you were asking for by setting a time value that's lower than the write speed, but its a tripod/tethering thing. To do this I also purchased the 360 motorised tripod kit which opened up a world of possibilities by giving full wireless remote control. https://www.parkcameras.com/p/9306178E/screen-accessories/camranger/kit-pt-hub-mp-360 This is why camera buffs have big bags and no money!! When I gave up I sold most of my gear and bought an e bike
