February 25, 20179 yr I have a few of those bluetooth adapters in stock. They are not listed on your website and not sure they work on BBS02 ?
April 6, 20179 yr Really hope not to hijack the topic. We worked on a similar project and we launched it on Kickstarter. Too bad Linshui released their dongle in the same time frame, otherwise we would've focused our energy elsewhere. Some competition doesn't hurt though, and if Linshui takes some inspiration from our functionality, not everything is lost after all. This link is not for advertising purposes. Just pointing out there's alternative: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/608108780/eggrider-an-advanced-smartphone-app-to-control-you?ref=e30ixj And our project is compatible with Bafang. April 6, 20179 yr hello emilx, your link does not work. Here is the new link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/608108780/eggrider-an-advanced-smartphone-app-to-control-you?ref=e30ixj I like your system very much.
April 6, 20179 yr And our project is compatible with Bafang. Cheers Interesting, try the link again, not working
April 6, 20179 yr looks a good system, especially now the Bafang motors are catered for. I like the option to change to 25kms, And having the App on the phone i can free up some space on the bars and pack it in here... only thing i notice is you need £10k inside 4 weeks, bit of an ask that?! "This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Thu, May 4 2017 8:40 PM BST."
April 7, 20179 yr yep, we agree, the target it's a bit unrealistic. We'll need to continue small-batch manufacturing. It's a pain, but there is no other option. Fixed the link btw.
April 7, 20179 yr not trying to defend the goal, but there are a few expenses if you want to get serious: - Bluetooth license: $5k as a startup, $8.5k as an established company - EMC certification - minimum quantity for mass production Keeping a low profile on the other hand does not require any of the above
April 8, 20179 yr I installed the Android version on my Samsung Galaxy S7, and then used the in app purchase option to order the bluetooth adapter. When I hooked it up, everything went smoothly until I found that the Android version has key features disabled. I can not set the speed any higher than 25kph (16mph) for example. There is a message on the screen that says "Speed limit above 25km/h is only available with paid version" There is no "paid version" available, so now I have paid $55 USD for something that is worthless. *this is the Fore Rider app for the lishui controller* Edited April 9, 20179 yr by pragmaticjim
April 14, 20179 yr I contacted lishui last week after I got no result from my complaints through the Play Store and paypal, and they replied yesterday with a link to a version of the app that allows android devices to set the speed properly. Thank you lishui. I still however can not set the power ratios of the various PAS levels.
April 14, 20179 yr they replied yesterday with a link to a version of the app that allows android devices to set the speed properly. Could you post a link to this app please?
April 14, 20179 yr Could you post a link to this app please? Mind you, you would have to set your device's(phone's) settings to allow untrusted sites to download the apk, as it is not from the officially sanctioned Google Play store. http://app.lsdzs.com/ForeRider_Pro.apk
June 2, 20178 yr I have a few of those bluetooth adapters in stock. Does anyone know if the adapter is available somewhere? I can't find it on Wooshbikes and Lishui has taken down their online store it seems (404 error).
June 2, 20178 yr Hi Eirik, We still have these bluetooth adapters in stock but they are not wired for the Bafang BBS01 but for Higu waterproof cableset that we use on our bikes. The 5-pin LCD socket is sufficiently similar to the Bafang LCD socket, you can push fit the Bafang LCD to it but the TX and RX pins are at the wrong locations - so they don't work unless you rewire it, which is very messy because there is not much cable length on those adapters. Result: the C961/C965 LCD stops working if you daisy chain the bluetooth adapter. Tony

August 21, 20187 yr Hello, I have also a Lishui controller, the LSW1448-2F model exactly, used with a rear hub motor BAFANG. The LCD display is a CURTIS KD21C, with the JULET connection cable (it is strange with a BAFANG motor) I try two things to remove the 25 km/h speed limit : 1) On the display, I set the speed limit to 40 km/h : but nothing changes, the motor still cut off after 25 km/h speed. 2) I open the controller and disconnect the speed cable. The speed is not more displayed, but nothing changes : I take my smartphone to measure the speed and the motor still cut off after 25 km/h speed. So I suppose the speed limit is programming into the chip of the controller. But I am not sure that the program and the BT controller avaible here (http://app.lsdzs.com/home/online-store/) can help to reprogram the controller, because I suppose it use the same cable as the LCD display and does not unlock the speed limit. Someone has already order this controller and success to unlock the speed limit into the controller ? Thanks in advance for your advices and reply.
August 31, 20187 yr Good Morning Folks. I have a client with a EMU bike and it has the Lushui Mini controller in the frame. The client wants to know if anyone has ever managed to get a throttle to work with this controller?? Many thanks Mike

Many thanks Mike without an existing connector for the throttle, the only way to add a throttle is to use CDRSKULL's add-on. Although he made it for his Carrera, the add-on should work on any Chinese bike. http://pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/how-to-add-a-throttle-to-a-carrera-vengeance-e-spec.31483/#post-445321

January 30, 20206 yr Do you think the lishui Bluetooth module would be compatible with a Das-Kit system? I've heard it uses a lishui controller, but potentially with difference wiring?
September 2, 20205 yr Lsihui Controller developed a Bluetooth Controller for IOS and Android Smartphones Even someone with no Computer-knowledge is now able to programm the controller just by a finger-wip at IOS or a finger-tipp at Android Smartphones We have put different language inside english, german, chinese and soon also french and italien will be inside Just a small overwiew about some screen-shot´s but there are much more choises to adjust easy by smartphone We developed a Controller with Bluetooth inside and we also sale a small adapter (see pic) to put in line with the display so you can also upgrade the bike that you already have Is this app still available? Google play store only has Forerider which doesn't have the extra features you want. It just seems to duplicate the LCD display, and not very well according to the reviews!
October 26, 20205 yr Hi Woosh / Tony, just bumping this thread as it's relevant. I'm interested in one of the Lishui adaptors as I have a Yose 36v Lishui controller bought earlier this year and I'd like to change mode from "speed controlled" to "current controlled". Quick questions : Do you have any adaptors left in stock? Will these work with Yose Lishui kit (I think Yose uses Juliet connectors - your post #38 says yours are Higu config?) Will it let me change the existing "speed controlled" mode to "current controlled"? Are you posting orders as normal this week or are school holidays etc slowing your shipping? Many thanks
October 26, 20205 yr hello scorpio, I still have the bluetooth adapters in stock but I don't know the answer to your questions. I have not tested any software for the last 4 years.
August 9, 20232 yr Hello Scorpio Woosh , I also have a Yosepower kit 250w 36v and would like to change some parameters (delay in pedal turn and assistance start, and assistance at low level (1-2-3) till 25kmh instead of 10-15kmh). Did it work with the bluethooth adaptator and the android app to do this kind of modification ? Thanks in advance,
