thinking of buying a bike maintenance stand, has anyone got any info or recommendations, obviously I don't want to be paying hundreds of ££ out, £50-70 range....

 

or has someone got one for sale?? would have to not to far away....

Every now and again, Aldi offer a perfectly good bike stand for around 25 quid.

I've just bought the Lidl one (on offer at £20) and it's actually quite well made, I'm very happy with it.

I was thinking of one where it lifts the whole bike off the floor, one with the arm on that holds the bike. I've been looking at cycle carriers for tow balls......most of the two bike models only go up to 15kg per bike, the haibike I have is 21kg, or maybe it would be less with the battery off??? hmm...didn't think of that!!

Lidl one does 30kg, if you have a look at my Carrera thread there's a picture of it in there.

I have a Thule EW G2 921 towbar carrier, 2 bikes but weight is 45kg - so good enough for 2 number e-bikes. Good bit of kit and sturdy enough (I was dubious of them at first).

 

I also take my battery off when transporting the bike...
