January 28, 20179 yr Done it !! Ordered one from Chevin Cycles. When the Mrs finds out, I'm dead meat  At least you will have something to do when she kicks out.
January 28, 20179 yr At the end of the day if you want to have something when it's fresh to the market you have to pay but if your willing to wait a bit the discounts are there to be found...
January 28, 20179 yr At least you will have something to do when she kicks out. Yeah I know, got a week before it arrives. Will have to do some serious 'Buttering Up' in the next few days. Bought a Harley a few years ago and had it in the garage a week before I figured a way to break the news ! Anyway, I'm still alive and still buying toys.

Bought a Harley a few years ago and had it in the garage a week before I figured a way to break the news ! Anyway, I'm still alive and still buying toys. I have found that as the years and many motorcycles have been and gone it it a good idea to buy them all the same colour. If asked to describe a passing red bmw my missus would say it was a red one.. .. I rest my case...
February 10, 20179 yr Whoo Whoo. Its arrived. Just a quick question. Put on a fully charged battery and the display says 61 miles range in ECO. Thought this was a bit low compared to my old Haibike which used to show 105 miles in ECO. I realise this is in ideal conditions only but the Bosch website gives 135 miles(218 KM) in ECO in ideal conditions for the Performance Line CX Powerpack 500. Be interested to know what initial range yours shows with a fully charged battery ? https://www.bosch-ebike.com/fileadmin/EBC/downloads/Broschueren/Produktbroschure_Performance_Line_2016_EN.pdf?_=1461339603
February 10, 20179 yr as you can see its not very good as goes off the last 20 mins off the bikes usage so if you go out and ride slow you will find the miles start to go back up
February 10, 20179 yr Ah OK thanks, so the initial range is incorrect. Opposite to Yamaha which started high and slowly decreased.
February 10, 20179 yr The range thing is so misleading When the display says 100+ just how far did you get or it does change to once you got on the ride Yes going up big hills makes it go down My main thing is I am looking at the Levo and a Yamaha Levo is 55-60 max yet a Yamaha says 100+ Is the Levo that bad against the Yamaha or just a more realistic answer Richard
February 10, 20179 yr a 500w batt with a dongle and the range is 25-30 miles so double that with out one.

This was the first and only time it showed such a high number and as I am surrounded by steep hills it is not unusual to see 3 miles to go with 3 bars still showing.. My view now is ignore it as it's put there just to confuse..
February 10, 20179 yr One thing I noticed with the Levo No display and in the app I could not see a range left Guess you soon work out the range you can do tho it's very miss leading I can see 20kg bike on manual power at some point for me

February 10, 20179 yr It's the oposite of cheating..http://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji102.png last n knackered
February 11, 20179 yr Had pretty much settled on the Cuble HPA 160 Race 500 for £3,500 but LBS just threw up another option; Bergamont E-Line Trailster C 9.0 500 2016 reduced to £3,200. Pro's: Cheap Rockshox Pike RCT3 150mm SRAM XG1150, 11 x 10-42T Only 21.5KG according to spec (not sure if due to high spec components or cheap frame..) Prefer colour and look of rear suspension Cons: Old Intuvia display. Can upgrade to Purion for about £100? Weaker Magura MT4 brakes. Should be enough, can always upgrade front if needed. Battery not as neatly integrated as Cube. Cables not routed internally Not such a well known brand, think they are owned by Scott now. Still only 2.35" tires, looks like not boost either. February 12, 20179 yr Sourcing spares locally could be issue with Bergamount. Especially frame specific ones like suspension brushes and derailleur hanger. I face same problem with my Cube, luckily bike.discount carry large range of Cube specific spares.

I face same problem with my Cube, luckily bike.discount carry large range of Cube specific spares. Good point. Short of wrecking the frame only parts I'd expect to replace are bits like bearings, sprocket and hanger. Not sure how bespoke they really are, might be more an issue of identifying the right replacement. This site seems to have an extensive range of mtb bearings, hangers etc.... LBS is only getting the bike in this week, when i go to look at it will be sure to question them about parts and warranty before committing to anything. ...... Kinda posted in wrong thread probably should of started my own, never-mind Edited February 12, 20179 yr by I Am Jon
February 14, 20179 yr The range thing is so misleading When the display says 100+ just how far did you get or it does change to once you got on the ride Yes going up big hills makes it go down My main thing is I am looking at the Levo and a Yamaha Levo is 55-60 max yet a Yamaha says 100+ Is the Levo that bad against the Yamaha or just a more realistic answer Richard Yes my Yamaha consistently says 105 miles in ECO PLUS on a fully charged battery whereas my new Bosch CX 500 gives 61 miles in ECO. But the Bosch has a memory in the motor which takes into account the last ride, which I presume the Yamaha doesn't.
February 14, 20179 yr My yamaha doesn't show range, it just has a decreasing percentage that always goes down and never goes up. I have just done 90kms and still have 27% left which in winter I consider to be good.
February 14, 20179 yr The best we got from our Yamahas was (using the Map my Ride app) 120 miles with 30% left. The wife forgot to switch the app off when we got back to the van before our trip home!
February 16, 20179 yr Decided to give it a go in TURBO only.....Freaking Awesome ! Did about 27 miles in quite hilly country North of Leeds, on and off road and only in Turbo mode. Although the range only said about 4 miles left when I got back the battery level was still showing 2 bars so I could probably have got quite a bit further , but I didn't want to push it until I know how long those 2 bars will last. Was going to buy a dongle but `I don't think I'll bother now.
February 20, 20179 yr that sounds like a long way in turbo mode only - did you use 2 batteries?? No, just one battery and 2 bars remaining although the range was down to 4 miles.
February 20, 20179 yr that sounds like a long way in turbo mode only - did you use 2 batteries?? I have tried riding in assist 5 only and the range doesn't go down as quickly as might be expected because higher assist gets you to cut off faster and after that you don't use much battery...
