Zipper Z6 21-Speed Ultimate Edition Electric Mountain Bike 26" - Black

Featured Replies

I'm looking at buying an electric bike to help me get around town. This one below seems to be aluminium and the spec looks good with Shimano mechs. I would welcome people comments on this model?

The same company, "RC Toy & Gift World" also has it on it's website.

If I decide to buy is it better to buy via eBay or via their website?

The website is £40 cheaper after £10 delivery charge. Controller /wiring isn't pretty for a oem e bike though 15kg stated weight sounds good, 9ah battery may hamper range but will be ok for getting around town. That said it might see you 20/25 miles.

Woosh have a mtb sport cd £349 on their web site used but looks good nick and provide a neater solution with disc brakes though has a few miles on it. Pretty sure if you had any issues with it they would always try and keep you on the road.

That looks pretty good. Those bottle batteries are not 100% waterproof, so don't leave it out in the rain. There's also this cyclamatic, which looks pretty good; however, you need to check whether it has a LCD and how many levels of assist. that's not shown in the photos or ebay listing.

I guess that's an old model because the one on their website has the controller in the battery receiver, a 10.8 Ah battery and it says 9 levels of assist, which seems a bit strange, so probably a good idea to check with them whether that's right. These batteries are more waterproof than the cylindrical ones.

though 15kg stated weight sounds good,

Where did you get that from. Both listings say 25.5 kg, which is a little heavy compared with most modern bikes and the new Cyclamatic at 19Kg.

On ebay at the top on item spec's but did think it's a bit optimistic, jus t seen the spec listing lower down 25.5kg sounds more like it.

More food for thought for Barrie now .

Nice find d8veh the Cyclamatic looks a better option with the much neater integrated controller/battery set up and a few differing bike colour optons, the added bonus of weight is better as well being 6.5 kg lighter.
