May 11, 20178 yr No. The LCD iis programmed with digital communication protocol to talk to the controller. KT LCDs (I have a few in stock if anyone needs one) are programmed with KT protocol. Common functions are on/off and battery voltage. The rest does not work with the wrong LCD. Parameters like time clock, wheel radius, km or mph, max assist speed, max current for each pedal assist level etc are stored on the LCD. If we need anything changed, we have to submit a request to Bafang's factory, they will compile a new km file for us to load into the LCD.
May 11, 20178 yr You will need lcd matched to a controller or compatibles from the same source to be sure, also you need the connectors to match or diy new connectors.
