Installing pas sensor no lock nut

There is no lock nut/ring nut on my bottom bracket, how will I install the pas sensor?

There will be a flange on the chainring side of the BB to retain the sensor ring, as the thread is a RH one from that side so it is fitted from that side.

If the BB and cranks were Isis, Hollowtech or GXP type then you could fit on any side.

You can unscrew the bottom bracket a couple of turns to make enough thread for the retaining ring, which you can buy on Ebay for 99p. You will most likely have to flip the magnet disc when you put it on that side. You can grind off up to 3mm from the inside of the pedal arm if there's not enough room for the magnet disc,
