Connecting lights to LED controller

I am replacing my worn out LED display with a new one which has a light switch fitted (see attached)

The LED display has yellow + and brown - wires coming from it for the lamp.

Previously the lights was wired directly to the battery so came on as soon as you turned on the 36v battery so they were on all the time.

Is it just a case of connecting the light the the positive and minus wires from the LED controller?
