Excellent article.

The apparent lack of curiosity about the massive heap of circumstantial evidence of a lab leak at Wuhan is EXTREMELY surprising outside the circumstance that it is actually a cover up.

  • Outbreak starts at Wuhan and nowhere else
  • Wuhan has several virus labs
  • Wuhan Institute of Virology is on record applying for grants to manipulate non human corona viruses to enable infection of human tissue
  • No reservoir of infected animals exists prior to the end of 2019
  • Wuhan is at the opposite side of China to where the horseshoe bats live
  • The Wuhan fish market does not sell bats, but Professor SHI Zhengli from Wuhan Institute of Virology has a large collection of bat corona viruses including the nearest genetic match to the sars-cov-2 (95% the same.
  • Sars-Cov-2 emerges in Wuhan at the end of 2019, with only one genotype. It has no mutated versions - this means it is brand new and has not existed before emergence in its current form
  • Other viruses which spillover from animals have various mutated forms
  • Within weeks Sars-Cov-2 mutates into various forms, so we get different versions - strange that it did not do it before if it came from animals naturally. This would be unheard of.
  • Normal spillover viruses from animals at first have a hard time passing from human to human until they mutate into more infectious versions
  • Sars-Cov-2 emerges extremely infectious right from Day 1
  • Sars Cov-2 infects human lung tissue via the furin cleavage site. This is what was proposed in the grant application from the Wuhan lab to Eco Health Alliance in 2018
  • No other bat corona virus attacks in that way. Strange that it is the exact mechanism proposed in the grant application

Why does this matter?

7,010,681 confirmed fatalities world wide so far from the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak as of April 13, 2024.

As of January 2023, taking into account likely COVID induced deaths via excess deaths, the pandemic is likely to have caused between 19.1 and 36 million deaths. Remember - many nations do not have good health coverage and diagnostic abilities.

BUT WE GOT OFF LIGHTLY.

WHY?

Because the manufactured, fiddled with virus that escaped from the Wuhan Virology Institute could have been MUCH worse than what we got.

Gain of function research as was certainly being undertaken there in Wuhan is not confined to China. It happens in various labs in many different countries, and lab escapes of viruses are not uncommon. They happen frequently and in countries like the UK too. There was an escape of Foot and Mouth Disease from Porton Down in Wiltshire in 2007. The virus escaped from a leaking pipe in a disposal unit and infected cattle nearby. Smallpox has escaped from a lab at the University of Birmingham in 1978 and infected Janet Parker who worked on the floor above the lab. It killed her and also killed two other people she was in contact with. There are a great many examples of dangerous viruses escaping in many locations across the world.

People get VERY excited about climate change, but the dangers of meddling with viruses to make them more dangerous and infectious is happening at many locations and they are far from foolproof. If you want a real Armageddon scenario to get excited about - viral gain of function research is the one to go for.

But what is the reaction by those in government?

Cover it up. Nothing to see here.

BBC 1hr ago: Worlds largest iceberg is heading for Georgia, no not that one, South Georgia .

"400m high" so if 90% of an iceberg is underwater, then it's 3.6km deep underneath?

They've been talking about A23a since 1986!

Why hasn't the b....r melted? Is it too cold, chuckle?

"In 2014 the area under Thwaites glacier was found to have heat flow from Geothermal activity from 138 volcanoes underneath the west Antarctic Ice sheet".

Are the greenie meanies going to get down there and stop it? haha :)

Extreme weather failing to encourage political climate action, says activist Luisa Neubauer

Fridays for Future organiser warns conspiracy theories are increasingly taking hold despite effects of global heating

"The 28-year-old activist, who spent three months in the US before the presidential election, said she had been shocked to see the destruction from Hurricane Helene “play into the cards of those denying climate disasters”.

Far-right influencers and conspiracy theorists used the wildfires that ravaged California this month to attack efforts to stop the planet from heating. Similar disinformation was seen in Spain after deadly floods struck Valencia in October."

Olaf Schultz suggested that EV is the future, the way to deal with it is not through extra duty on Chinese or American imports but give subsidy to buy EU made EVs. In China, they have a simpler scheme. Before you can buy a car, you need to buy a number plate. Each year, a number of plates are going to be auctioned. The cities control congestions and plan transports by restricting the number of plates on sale. ICE number plates can cost up to $15,000 each while EV number plates are free or much cheaper.

In the next 10 years, batteries are expected to drop in price at around 10% a year. New progress on LiS solid state batteries can be recharged in just 1 minute and keep 80% of the charge after 25,000 cycles. That's75 years if you recharge every day, a lifetime for most people. Solar panels are also deployed at exponential rate, more than double every year. Solar + storage batteries is the norm for new capacity.

Apparently, Trump said on interview after his speech to WEF that he has delegated peace in Ukraine job to Xi Jinping. Also, a federal judge has stopped temporarily one of his presidential orders, the one about birthright for immigrants children, because it's anti-constitutional.

Reality starts settling in.

He did have one good move though. He cancelled the app 'CBP One' on his inauguration. That instantly stopped thousands going through border control. Perhaps we should copy that idea at our ports.

Widespread power outages in Northumberland and Durham. More or less most of the rural communities are off grid right now. No charging today then...

"Sunlight melts snowflakes. Fire turns logs into soot and smoke. A hot oven will make a magnet lose its pull. Physicists know from countless examples that if you crank the temperature high enough, structures and patterns break down.

Now, though, they’ve cooked up a striking exception. In a string of results over the past few years, researchers have shown that an idealized substance resembling two intermingled magnets can — in theory — maintain an orderly pattern no matter how hot it gets. The discovery might influence cosmology or affect the quest to bring quantum phenomena to room temperature."
