I recently bought a Windgoo B20

I am looking for a replacement battery

However, eBay has been notified to remove all listings regarding the bike as it can cause a fire risk

So looking for a replacement battery is difficult

Any advice would be appreciated

Windgoo B20 electric bike recalled

Published: November 21, 2024

"A recall notice appearing on the UK Government website this week advises owners to immediately cease using the product and contact the seller to enquire about potential redress. The issue identified relates to a risk of fire when the Windgoo B20 is charged. The recall notice suggests ‘it is possible for the lithium-ion batteries to go into failure mode, potentially leading to a thermal runaway and fire.’"

Perhaps a battery without a safety critical flaw might be a healthier option? the basic bolt on hailong form factor is widely available.

If the widgoo b20 employs any form of restrictive battery coms however you may find it easier to simply replace the control system (£50-100) too.

I doubt that you'll ever get a battery for it, and if you did, you might set fire to your house. I'd recommend swapping to a frog-type battery from Yose, which clamps to the seat-pin, then run the wires to the controller, wherever it id. Put some of that coiled plastic shrouding around the wires for protection. It'll probably be cheaper as well as safer than the original battery:
