I'd recommend swapping to a frog-type battery from Yose, which clamps to the seat-pin, then run the wires to the controller, wherever it id. Put some of that coiled plastic shrouding around the wires for protection. It'll probably be cheaper as well as safer than the original battery: https://www.yosepower.co.uk/products/24v-36v10ah-frog-li-ion-e-bike-seat-tube-battery?currency=GBP&variant=43425230422236&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=3c53e71ffe78&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22087960003&gbraid=0AAAAAomzHmyN2mRlr3e28jqg0yaGOVkDH&gclid=CjwKCAjw8IfABhBXEiwAxRHlsJRObr_iRD7G8GCdHPQBh0te8UtcoOY42qEG3eWBVhsOuJeTGAgxaBoC7mUQAvD_BwE
