Anyone managed to get insurance on one of these last year or 2? If so, who with?

I know about the law re: registering, but if impossible to insure, then always that risk isn't there.

The only person who came close to answering that question to me in the positive was a chap who was selling a self built e m/cycle. And it was a brush off response "Just the same as any other self built vehicle", - he used a different term to self-built - section/schedule 5??? tho ?

 

I didnt investigate further assuming the cost to be prohibitive- for my budget at least.. if your £5k down

and have months if not years invested into a build perhaps you have a different perspective
