August 26, 200817 yr Hi, I would like to optimise the site for google so future users can find us and i'm very interested to hear how you found the site. If you used a search engine such as Google, could you tell me what Keywords you used and how many Search Result pages you clicked through before you found it? Thanks Russ. Google again. This site came up on several searches, eventually I hovered longer after my initial search enquires were met as you all led me off on interesting side issues - you know what it's like. You nip out to the corner shop for some milk and come back not only with the milk, but biscuits, crisps, and chocolates for later. Anyway: Electric motor bicycle kits Bicycle motors Tongxin Nanomotor Giant Lafree Best electric bicycle - all I can remember but there were more; lots of respelling by Google also brought me here too with "Did you mean...?" Also, a lot of searches took me elsewhere, and once on those sites, interesting subjects from there, redirected me to here - so not always direct.
September 4, 200817 yr Hi I woke up one day and decided I hated my life so much I'd start posting on an eletric bike forum.
September 13, 200817 yr Hi I woke up one day and decided I hated my life so much I'd start posting on an eletric bike forum. Has it helped?
September 15, 200817 yr Has it helped? No. Ever since, I feel the need to cut myself just to see how much I'll bleed.
November 10, 200817 yr No. Ever since, I feel the need to cut myself just to see how much I'll bleed. Keep trying, it gets really interesting later on and lets face it you can't rely on your wit to stop you being dull.
February 12, 200917 yr Being a straight forward sort of person, I googled for electric bike forums. And there it was--about four entries down. That was after I tried 'electric bicycles forums'. Not so helpful.

May 19, 201015 yr Nah! Easysearch wins hands down AND donates to our charity! Never heard of it, so it must have lost itself! .
May 19, 201015 yr Googled "Cytronex" following "The Gadget Show" the one where Otis races the lycra lad. Among the results was a thread from this site. 6 months later the forum is on my favorites and I have several Ebikes. I generally ride every day feel fitter than I have in a long time
May 19, 201015 yr I gave up my driving license, ( poor eyesight), decided to jump in with no prior knowledge into buying an e-bike. Chose the Alien gents 2 and am now totally in love with it. What do you do with a new passion?, you find out if any one else is out there. Quick Google search, 'Electric bikes' and I'm here. Not contributing much,(non technical dumbo ) but, enjoying the site. Glad I signed up. -----John.
May 20, 201015 yr Hi, I would like to optimise the site for google so future users can find us and i'm very interested to hear how you found the site. If you used a search engine such as Google, could you tell me what Keywords you used and how many Search Result pages you clicked through before you found it? Thanks Russ. About 3 years ago, I was directed to the site by an article on ebikes in the Sunday Times. Then Flecc rubbished my ambition of an invisible battery and pushed me to a Kalkhoff. Where, to be fair to the modest one, I've been very happy, but I think I'd have picked a Cytronex if they'd been around 3 years ago.
May 31, 201015 yr Google search for "Powabyke review" was top of the list, liked what I saw so joined
May 31, 201015 yr Then Flecc rubbished my ambition of an invisible battery and pushed me to a Kalkhoff. I'm a wicked s*d, but you didn't need much pushing! .
May 31, 201015 yr I found this site by searching Google for "powabyke mk1 battery". Pedelec was about the 8th entry on the first page of results. So glad i did find it.
November 14, 201015 yr I know this is an old post, but are you using Google Analytics or any alternatives? You might also find these useful: Pedelecs.co.uk Site Info Electric Bikes - Pedelecs UK is the leading resource for electric bike enthusiasts Your search engine ninja, Ed I found it via Googling 'electric bike forums'
November 14, 201015 yr Actually I'm probably the only member who can say "it found me". When Russ set up the pedelecs website up in 2006 he contacted me to ask if I'd help to kick it into action, so I made the first post here and put links to it on my e-bike websites. Russ did lots of work with Google then to make sure the site got good billing, and he was very successful with that. .
November 15, 201015 yr How I found the forum... Hi, I built an e-bike about 12 months ago from my existing mountain bike and a chinese front hub motor. As an Australian, we don't have consistent regulations around the country, and as an ex electronic engineer wanted to find our more about what's out there, the standards and so on - so i googled and found the forum. Cheers, Viv
