    Battery for Wisper 905e Works.

Thanks for that David, the battery is being checked shortly at Wisper in Portswood Southampton? I think thatt's where your main shop is? I'll let you know what the result is, if it is faulty I hope I can obtain the same battery for that bike, ie not now obsolete? Would be nice to have a ride...

    Battery for Wisper 905e Works.

tHanks hech Thanks for that hech, I'm looking into a new battery, prices etc and am sure that David from Wisper will help out, having it checked almost as we speak. I'm afraid the New Forest, the one I was referring to is down here in Hampshire, some of it may well be in Dorset, but it's down...

    Battery for Wisper 905e Works.

Just wondering where I can buy a battery for the Wisper 905e, it's a 36v 14amp, and I'm a bit dismayed by what I hear is the price, about £500.00, apparently, though this suggestion from another e bike owner may be incorrect.. seems very steep for a battery for this bike, and rather negates the...

Help from a local Wisper owner

Weight for it! Hi Paul, Sorry, haven't been on the site since the 31st of August so didn't see your request for my weight! And I'm not really sure, I know I'm a bit overweight, at 5' 6'' tall I think I'm about 13 and a half stone. Hope this helps, Tony. :)

Help from a local Wisper owner

905 Battery Hi Paul, I'm not very technical or mechanically minded but I'd like to help. I have a 905se, very pleased with it, I once measured, via a bike computer the complete range of the bike and this was 32 miles mainly on the flat and mainly throttle only but with some pedal assist on the...

Two bikes in the back of the van and then!!!

I had two e bikes in the back of the van one evening last summer, a friend and I thought we'd do the same thing, ie to drive out to somewhere different, thus quickly and easily driving thrugh old familiar ground and saving battery power. We had a good ride in the countryside around here and then...

    Condition, condition,condition.

It's been quite a long time since I've posted, couldn't really think of much new to say was one of the reasons, but here goes with a topic. Yesterday I saw a sorry site, a Wisper 905se chained to a railing, all alone and looking very sorry for itself. Just about every screw, bolt, and nut was...

    Different experiences near Bath.

Irrespective of whether or not one is on a bike, driving, walking or whatever, I normally find that a lot of people, ie complete strangers do look as though they have a certain amount of aggression and mistrust in them as eyes meet, but I also find that once a cheery 'hello' is given the person...

    A very sad tale

Don't know really if thats quite a good idea? In this rather sorry driving world we are in with some very aggressive drivers about I actually try not to make eye contact with any of them, I think that once this is done then, in some cases, the other driver can get the (wrong) idea that he or...

    A very sad tale

A sad incident indeed, I wish the young lady all the best. I've just started motorcycling again after 20 or so years and really enjoying it, a friend of mine who is a bit outspoken said I looked like a belisha beacon dressed up in jaket and trousers each with bright yellow on, and he a former...

First proper journey on my Wisper

Thanks for that David but I'll probably stick to my own 905, it doesn't get out as much as it should as it is, (!) this will give it a bit of use, but the batteries would be good, Thanks, Tony. Of course you can borrow a battery/s for next years challenge, you can borrow a new 905 500S if you...

First proper journey on my Wisper

Hi uk steve, It's the standard battery for the 2008 model 905se, that is the Lithium ion 36v 14 amp. I do pedal up any incline to help the battery, thus contributing to the 32 mile range, but on the level I normally let the battery/motor do the work, Tony.

First proper journey on my Wisper

Hi David, No, the 32 mile range is with the derestrict off, so 32 mile approx is covered at a quite quick pace. Incidentally, I think I'd like to tackle the next Ching Challenge, would there be any chance of letting me beg or borrow a spare batterey(s) for this 100 miler?

First proper journey on my Wisper

Hi jasano, Yes the 905se is a great bike, I've no idea where the Charnwood Forest is but it sounds a nice place, most forests are, and it also sound like the Wisper handled the journey well. I normally keep mine on the derestrict setting, not normally much point in the lower setting as I...

How often do you meet other members of the pedelecs site?

Not very often perhaps, but it happened yesterday, I was waiting for one of the Wight Link ferries to take me back to the mainland at Lymington, Hants after working on the island - one of the other ferries had broken down with serious gear failure and as I waited I saw two e cyclists on...

Shall I buy a Motorbike? or 2 ebikes? 3 ebikes?

Either get a Wisper 905se, - or a Kawasaki Ninja 250r, hold on tight to the latter.

A week in Wales with the Wisper.

Just back from a week in Wales, very lovely country and near the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. This is not a plug for the Lakeside Caravan Park at Llangorse but it was all very nice, friendly and relaxing, though the people I went with seemed to only want in the main to go around antique...

Why weren’t more people on the 100 Mile Challenge?

That's quite Ok Andy, Fecn, Mutiny & Tiberius. I might like to try the Ching Challenge and maybe Rutland etc, and with my £519 00 Wisper battery in place, well for that price it should be no problem!
