I will check when I get back from the big smoke buddyHall effect sensors are in the motor. They respond to magnetism, like read switches. the magnets in the motor switch them on and off, which gives a speed signal.
Which connector is on the end of your sensor on the fork? How many wires does it have?
So swap around the chunky green, yellow, blue ones ?The motor's running backwards.Without hall sensors, it has to guess at which way to turn. You can try swapping positions of any two phase wire (motor wires). if it still runs backwards, swap them back and try again, then try another two. Eventually, it will start running forwards.
The speed sensor is easy because you don't have hall sensors. joint the white to the white, the red to the red and the black to the black in that white block. you can just cut the wires of the connector and join them together or nick the connector off your old controller.
Connect the green wires to each other ?Just looked again and see that you have the green self-learning wires. Try this first:
Switch off
Join the green wires
Open the throttle just a bit
Wait until the motor turns the wheel forward smoothly.
Switch off
Unplug the green wires
It should work OK after that, though they can still get confused about which way it has to turn. Once it gets it right, it'll stay like that as long as you don't reconnect the green wires.
