Excellent d8veh, sweet pricing too. Now who's gonna buy one of their batteries for some torture and quality tests? ;)

I really like the design and style of these new type packs.
Do you reckon the Panasonic pack actually contains genuine Panasonic batteries, as I know bmsbattery can be a bit ambiguous with their descriptions?

20a controller that is interesting. Is it the same as s06s?

Nice battery with internal controller. But when I looked closer(data sheet, and googling the battery cells) it looks like it is only 10 amp continious discharge but a 20 amp controller.Isnt that asking for trouble?

These batteries seems great indeed, if anyone get one it would be great to check if they can deliver 20 amp continous discharged as advertised ( I have the older bottle battery design with a 10 amp continous and it's weak ...)

Asked on the chat about the coutinous discharge rate and they confirmed the 20 amp value ...

Try googling the battery cells.I found that that type of cells was 10 amp continious

Just to make it clear that that's for one cell. The BMSBattery batteries are five cells in parallel, so 50A continuous. The limit will be the BMS.

So, who's going to be the first to take punt on it? One of my friends is on the lookout for a smaller battery, this might be just right.

If that's the case, I will have a barely used, 6 month old 36v/20ah shrink wrap battery for sale, and s12 controller....

Thanks for the info D8veh.I dont have basic electronic understanding. So I googled it.But bms battery should change the info on the data sheet. It says 10a continious.Very confusing

Because that is the limit of the Battery Management System (BMS).

I think what Boris is getting at, is that the 'more info' tab says continuous 20a, while the 'data sheet' tab says 10a.

Same with the 36v one.....

Which one are you looking at? I just looked at five of them and they all say 20A on the "more info" and "data sheet"!

I really like the idea of these, but having looked at a few, they all say the maximum continuous discharge current is 10 Amps. Which is not what I fancy at all. I have someone itching to do a build, but has stalled over this for 3 weeks now. We just can't commit

That current is incorrect on the data sheet. On the main "more info" sheet, it says 20A. some of them have 20A controllers in them, so they can't be 10A!

That's not quite right d8veh. On the initial page is says 20A max. The data sheet states both 20A max and 10A continuous. It's not a contradiction.

Has anyone scoped this sinewave? The waveform could be very revealing. If the 20A is peak the rms is 14A on a true sinewave. That's more in line with 250w bottles and Chinese advertising practices.

We don't want to pay out on a hunch. I have wrote to them though.
