PAS sensor fitting

Hi,
I am going to buy a front wheel conversion kit for my Dahon Expresso from Elifebike. Looking at the PAS sensor it fits into the locking collar of a sealed bottom bracket. My bike has an older style bottom bracket with a metal circular lock nut so will not directly fit. Is it possible to buy/make a simple bracket which will fix the sensor body or is it possible to simply glue it into place. I thought perhaps a jubilee clip round the bottom bracket with some form of attachment might work.

A cartridge bottom bracket is only £10 from Halfords. Just match the length.
