Hi I have just bought a Yose 350w rear wheel kit and have been fitting it today .The sensor that came with it is a KT-V12L and it doesn't fit on the bottom bracket . Can anyone tell me the best sensor to get ? Thanks in advance .

A picture of the sensor you have and one of the bottom bracket on your bike will help.

Turn the bike upside down and put the pedal arm back on, then take a photo from underneath so that we can see the gap between the chainwheel and the BB and the gap on the other crank.

Like this, but more central and a bit more distance so we can see both sides:

It looks like you'd have enough room if you changed your BB. You can get a cartridge one from Halfords for about a tenner, which is much better than the one you have. You'd need to disassemble everything from your BB, then take the spindle to Halfords to get one the same length. They have them in several different lengths. You could get one a few mm longer if you want, which would give a bit more room , but there's a small chance that it could mess up your front gear-changing because it would move out your chainwheels a little. Some derailleurs can't reach any further. You can check it's reach by undoing the end-stop screws to show the full range of movement.

I've got two or three of these VT12-L's laying around, but haven't used them. I've been using the 8 magnet V-7 sensor in the red package. The disk is 4 mm wide, which is 6 mm less than the VT12.

The tradeoff is that the V-7 can be mounted in 4 different positions, and only one works right. You have to fit it and test for proper PAS operation before you finalize it.

Also, I've never found that the ring will fit under the BB locking hardware. If glued, as suggested, it takes up valuable space and I won't use glue. I end up fashioning a bracket and clamping that to the bike.

In this case, the sensor is on the non-crank side, where I had more room. That may be true on your bike too,
