    Izip Ezgo

    I bought this bike (Izip Ezgo)from e.bay 2yrs ago for £250,it does the job well for what i want,but i would like it to be a bit lighter.Would changing to a lighter type of battery plus charger and controller be worth the cost compared to a new bike. Thanks. Brian

    Just got back fom hols in switzerland,temp in the 80s,lots of e.bikes in Geneva and e.bike rental for tourists,tons of space on the trains for bikes and bike racks on the rear of sevice buses.Saw a few cargo electric bikes in Interlaken too,also pedal rickshaws.

    Thanks chaps seems to have got rid of the noise,there were a couple not ringing like the others.

    My bike is a Izip Ezgo and i am getting a clicking noise from the hub,it only does it with rider weight(12 stone)if i lift the bike up or turn it upside down it does not do it,if i take the battery off and pedal it it, there it is again,other than the noise it works perfectly. Any ideas folks?

    I worked for 20+ years as a paint sprayer so i noticed the enamel dip, but i would like to know what the pre treatment was like back then.Todays cars dont rust like they used to back in the 60s,the top coats were better then but the pre treatments were rubbish.
