Buy a 250w sticker from ebay , attach to motor and use bike as is.

Not a chance you are doing an average commute speed of 20mph on a road legal ebike, bikes far too heavy to maintain that extra speed unassisted after the motor cuts out, especially with the tyres you have as well.

Nice bike, like the low step frame. With that motor setup up you'll be flying up the hills.

There's a weird obsession on this forum about whether other Ebikes riders are legal or not. Just ride your bike at the legal power/ speed limit if that's for you. But stop trying to police the rest of us who don't conform. Imagine a car forum constantly going on about the top speed and power...

From the limited info in the article, it sounds like that pro cyclist should never have been on that cycling path on a training run. I've ridden that path lots of times and it's always a busy route.

What voltage did the charger read? you need to ask for this information, the guy testing it saying its fine isn't good enough for fault finding.

It can happen ,My grandson managed to blow my charging port using one of my screwdrivers, not a key but similar. Off all the places to stick it. Luckily he was ok, i was lying under the bike at the time an a bit of the metal landed on my forehead leaving a scar lol.
