5 separate punctures on a 14 mile journey home

Not a chance you are doing an average commute speed of 20mph on a road legal ebike, bikes far too heavy to maintain that extra speed unassisted after the motor cuts out, especially with the tyres you have as well.

    Help! Incorrect motor?

Nice bike, like the low step frame. With that motor setup up you'll be flying up the hills.

Do police even bother to check if an e-bike is legal?

There's a weird obsession on this forum about whether other Ebikes riders are legal or not. Just ride your bike at the legal power/ speed limit if that's for you. But stop trying to police the rest of us who don't conform. Imagine a car forum constantly going on about the top speed and power...

Help! Looking for an alternative to Swytch and would appreciate some advice in Conversion Kits General Discussion.

If your not looking to peddle at all then stick to the mid drive. you can experiment using the grin motor simulator, saves you buying the wrong bike. Pay attention to point/time when the motor overheats on the calculator , adjust the hill grade to suit. https://ebikes.ca/tools/simulator.html

60nm is fine for a hub motor, ive got a 48v rear hub hpm motor with a 23a controller and it gets me up 100% of all paved road paths with zero issues and the torque is more than ample. I also have a 52v bbshd for off road fun In some ways i prefer riding the hub bike, its taken me a bit to get...
