How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Still, not my cup of tea. Perhaps you can let us know how you get on with the gear.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Don't know about anyone else but I'd give up MTB ing permanently if I had to dress up in that lot. You'll look like something but no sure it will be a robot.

    Pedelec Comfort with Full Suspension

I have several bikes, 3 with front only and my non ebike with full suspension. All are MTB's and on the road I generally lock out the suspension/s. A bit of bobbin off road is fine but on the road just feel wrong and with MTB tyres at say 25-30 psi your should get a comfy soft ride anyway...

Bosch Performance - Cleaning & Protection

I think you will find that it raises the chain line high enough to pass through the rear triangle. Depending on the design of the triangle / suspension, many bikes don't need this wheel.

    Punctures............

I guess that I must just be extremely lucky. Never used anything other that good quality thin wall tyres. Despite severe hammering off road and day to day commuting/ kerb jumping, nothing has happened to my tyres that would not happen on a regular bike. The few extra kgs over a standard bike...

    Punctures............

Westoe, the tyres do not know what type of bike they are fitted to. They can all withstand he loads and additional torque of legal ebikes. As Eddie says, these tyres have a thin carcass. Thin carcass = more punctures. Whatever bike they are on. People, including myself use them because...

    Punctures............

I'm curious as to why you think that the standard tyre such as the Racing Ralph is not suitable for an Ebike. An ebike maybe weigh in at around 8-10kg more than a regular bike. Rider weights vary by around 30kg. These tyres will cope very well with high speeds down stoney trails along with a...

Tapatalk, how can i get rid of message

Thanks, hopefully it will sort the problem. As Pat in previous post suggests, I could just install the app but the Forum works fine as it is on Ipad and phone so I see no real need. If after update problem still exists, I'll maybe forced to give it a go.

Tapatalk, how can i get rid of message

Anyone know how I get rid of the irritating tapatalk message that covers half my ipad screen when I return to the forum. I press the x button to get rid of it and instantly get logged out. What ever Tapatalk is, I don't want or need it. How do I prevent my ipad from ever mentioning it again...

    Drink drive

People take a bike to save drink driving. If their car licence were just as much at risk I suspect many would dump the bike and take the car instead.

    Like riding through the woods?

When I were a kid one of the local lads died as a result of a wire. That, I am sure was a prank. This time it is, I believe with intent to injure. Sorry if the thought ruined your ride but thought I'd make people aware. As far as the rat poison, I heard but why would anyone do that? Its...

"I forgot to add that I already have one." No surprise there. Best to be prepared as they say in the scouts.

    Punctures............

I've been running Stans for a few months. No a single flat despite many thorns. Ran with 80 ml in each tyre. Removed rear tyre Friday during a service, probably about 20 ml still in the tyre. I'll not be swapping back to tubes. Does make me wonder why others have suffered balling. Less latex...

Crank arm hitting the rear stay

If it did not fit when new the you need one with more offset. You cannot install loose as the thing sits on a taper and has to be fully home. Bending it is not the answer either as the pedal axle would then be p*ssed. Get to the bike shop and they'll sell you one that will fit.

    Like riding through the woods?

2 Jun 2015 - Perpetrators strung 'at least six' neck-high wires between trees in Coldean Woods, a popular route for cyclists near Brighton. One of my local woods. An extract from cycling weekly. Searching the web show that this is happening all over the country. I can think of a few forum...

    London Road Rage

I guess I don't like it when pre judged by other but like most I do it myself. Having got somewhat off the track, the real shame is that this incident is undoubtedly not an isolated case. There will be many others that never get seen or reported. Near misses aside, I wonder what has gone wrong...

    London Road Rage

Flecc You are right, I very much dislike these large VANS. Bung some kiddie seats in them and pretend that they are some large up market car and drive around like a **at. They clog up our small streets and from my experiences are often driven by people with inflated aggressive egos. Apologies...

    London Road Rage

N Not at all. The white van man buys and drives his van to earn a living and has not generally bought it as some sort of status symbol. Whilst they may come a bit close at times, from my experience its usually because of work and time restraints that they are rushing. It is not with the get...
