    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

Soundwave. Think I might buy a spare ses bearing just in case so thanks. Have you needed to buy any crank / motor bearings yet?

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

Regarding price, it' supply and demand I'm afraid. As with bearings, I've had standard bearing in my old Cannondale scalpel which didn't last long so went for ceramic (4 times the price) and they lasted no longer and felt no smoother. I'll stick to standard bearings in future :)

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

It's fine, along with crank/motor bearings. When well lubed / clean all ok, but i don't have time to do it after every ride. I get bike serviced every 6 months, full strip down. I usually clean bike once a week / fortnight. Never mind.

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

Sorry to hear that. not sure i can do much about the ses wheel. I removed guard but still get chain noise grrrrr. Seem to have to constantly lube whole chainset to get it to run well,

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

Hey soundwave, How did you get on with the big ring and badass dongle, speed wise. I've just taken the haibike 18t chainring off, and replaced with haibike 20t chaining. Now i find i will need to replace chain as derailleur is stretched. Even the haibike chainset leaves very little clearance...

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

I did this with the Nyon. It was a bit pointless to be honest. I found the Garmin more accurate than the Nyon / iPhone for recording data!

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

The cheaper ring will potentially damage your casing as it did with mine as sit's too close to case. i opted back to the expensive haibike ones and no issues.

    Haibike Front Sprocket ?

I bought one from e-bike shop, but they will only sell if you bought a bike from them. I think park tools do one , but more expensive than Haibike. Another option is go to the bikespeed rs website and they do one there. I have the original 16t, and since bought the 18t and 20t. I prefer the...

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

I've never bothered with the remote, but good to hear how you get on. The problem i had was a cluttered dash (excuse the term) i.e. lights, garmin, lock out remote, horn etc. I've decluttered and feel better for it. God, i sound like the other half!

    New Bike

Lovely bike and by the looks of the area your going to have great fun. The great thing about, so called entry level bikes is that you can upgrade. I'm sure you won't need to though. Enjoy.

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

Will you not find the remote rubbers holding it to bars annoying when riding?. It seems to be in the palm area.

    Hi, just joined

Hi Gruff, Welcome to the forum. I bought a cover for my battery and didn't click it into place on bike and it nearly fell off. Just double check it's secure before you set off. :)

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

The K edge works well. Extending it out front makes it so much easier to read. I was surprised to see the Garmin version is very good when I bought my 820 bundle. Evans prices matched mine, although not happy at first they agreed. Can't see how they can improve on the 1000, as the 820 over...

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

That is a good price. The 820 has a few more features, but nothing you can't live without. If you go to Garmin and do a compare it shows you. This is why I didn't buy the 1000 edge, as the other models have caught up. I'm sure they will have to bring out new 1000 edge soon.

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

I debated between the 820 and 1000. Went for 820 as latest tech vs 1000 about 2 years old. I did like the larger screen but there would be a problem having out front as mentioned. I'm sure you'll be happy with either. I like the crash detection support of the 820.

Garmin 820. Has anyone bought one?

Yes i have one. Sold Nyon, replaced with Purion and 820. Great bit of kit, works well, fits neatly on bike. Can't really say more.Never used random ride. Just head out sometimes no plan.

    cold hands

On occasions i have used heat pads (disposable). I believe you can buy reusable, heated via microwave. Other than these, not sure i'd over think it.
