    Buy new Dongle or not?

I think the bikespeed rs is limitless, at least that's what they told me, and gives correct reading. I went out last night and averaged 20mph over 27 miles on eco/tour mode. I was limited by the dark and pot holes :). I think a 20t on front = (50t std) with bikespeed rs would give you the...

    Buy new Dongle or not?

These are good points and ones I've already been considering, hence the reason why I haven't bought a new dongle. I've been +40mph on my race bike, not down hill either (now sold) and it felt fine. I should admit I just touched 40mph. I've also been downhill with it at 52mph (my max ever) and...

    Buy new Dongle or not?

Need advise please on whether I should buy a new speed dongle or not. I keep changing my mind, so maybe you can help me make my final decision. I already have an e-mtb with shop fitted dongle. This dongle works well, (no idea which one it is) uses the walk button to activate and it reads out...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Hi Trevor, Thanks, I realised that. In the late 80's had to ensure my fathers old video camera footage taken of the North and South island from Rotorua to Mossburn. He mounted the bloody thing on the dash of my sisters car when they spent a month out there. Felt like I'd been at the time...

Funny think is i decided on the RX vs PRO, purely due liking shimano xt groupset and knowing when i come to sell bike i'll never get anywhere near the price of the XDURO RX, never mind the PRO!. After loosing 7k on a road bike in 3 years i was keen to avoid this. I should have gone for the RC...

Newcastle Cycle Centre 15% Off Everything In Shop

Stephen, good to hear from someone in N.E. I'm from Monkseaton, but lived in Kent last 25 years. Ive only seen one other person with a e-mtb down here, hope there more popular up there. Byker brings back memories, do they still have that big wall with flats in?

Thought the badass dongle was limited to the 31mph assist, and didn't show correct reading.

Nice bike!. You use the 15t, as i've got a 42t cassette the 18t at front seems more than enough for steepest stuff. Also, did you say you had a dongle fitted?. I do, max 31mph. Looking at ASA, peartune and RS, but only looking as they seem to offer even further speed assist.

Thanks, i've got a 18t on front (haibike one). The connex type one above i've tried 18t and it was so close to casing the chain damaged the motor case.

Sorry, when i mean safe. I'm reasonably sensible on bike knowing what speed i can go and where, also my bikes brakes etc can handle +25mph, but +40 hmmmmm
