You could try bbs02 36 volt at 25 amps 500watts o_O or spend 1k+ on a new setup try electron cycles for bbshd they program 1500+watts and batts are 30q

I have a 27 amp triangle pack at 36 v before you buy think how will it fit and can you mount it securely to the frame

If you go for bbshd you will need a new battery as well as the motor as hd is 48 v or 52v :(

Try and use the throttle to power out ,I found if you start to adjust settings it makes tight slow corners difficult the power jolts in sharply and creates its own problems

The bolts stick out way to far, do not think a mid drive will fit without serious modification :( the ones on the charge are further back and grub screws in full nuts, a machine shop might be to modify and relocate

The last page throttle has a box start current usually set to 20% and throttle set to current :)

You can break any thing if it is abused or the chain line is out, in normal use it is not a problem , others on the forum run high power bbshd without problems

The charge eccentric bottom bracket only mod top motor fixing replaced with nut and bolt

It will all depend on the type of bottom bracket and how it is tightened /adjusted the charge has two allen bolts and does not foul but the cube has 2 lugs that are in the way a pic might help

Just a thought . My charge has the eccentric bottom bracket which turns to tension the chain the bafang mid drive went in ok but required a sprung loaded chain tensioner
