    My main concern would be how to lift onto a roof rack even if you remove the front wheel and battery its still a lump :(but if it rains the 70mph jet wash will kill every thing:eek:

    It may be just me but I could not bring myself to spend a couple of thousand on a ready made bike in one go. But I would buy a kit of parts and upgrade over time. Those who build or convert often start with a secondhand bike .Then struggle to find the parts in the uk and often end up buying...

    put the battery on the existing rivnuts and a thick cable tie in place of the top fixing looks a good bike should be a light build

    The stainless steel cheap rotas seem to do ok appear to last just as long as the center locks and less than a third of the price happy days. The worst thing is sand trapped between rota and pad after a trip along the estuary wall pads and disk in the bin

    I have to agree heat does kill pads, I now always fit 203mm to the front and the rear the original 160mm got to hot and warped but it was not due to speed its more to do with my size :)

    It is hard to measure without removing the chain wheels and bottom bracket bbs01 is 68mm -70mm according to most sellers I have had a problem with one installation but that was easily overcome good luck with your build

    That's a memory I can relate to:) did he have parachute too. 70 x 30q has a very high discharge capacity it should be a very interesting ride

    if you reprogram the amount of levels to 9 and can adjust pas levels I would hope you will be ok. :confused: Did I not read electrons battery uses 30q so power output from the battery should not be a problem .And with 52 volts I cannot remember what volts it should start out at fully charged...

    Just the vat at 20% is £90 then duty then the courier charge it could be a fair amount But for peace of mind if it does need repair a uk purchase I think is worth it is not far out on cost If it does get stopped.Or try one that keeps eu stock But in the end it is personal choice. But i have...

    I use the alfine 8 and have had no problems but it needs some way to adjust the chain I use a spring loaded alfine tensioner. I also have my alfine 11 used for about four years with out a problem, have not tried it motor powered yet But you cannot change gears under power I pull the brake...

    That's why I did not buy one because everyone was evasive about the spec one supplier even said both 250 and 350 are the same some only sell boxes ended up buying 350 complete motor
