Before and after the shunt mod. It looks like there was a lot of solder already on there.

Thought I'd post a bit of an update on my 500W. My bike has done a grand job of getting me 4 miles each way to work and the occassional longer recreational jaunt of up to 14 miles. It's been very reliable so far, being ridden on maximum PAS and throttle most of the time. Changes so far: I've...

LCD Display from Bafung (and the size of it)

Dimensions for the LCD6 can be found here. This bluetooth display replacement would suit me. I could use an old phone and take it off the bike when not needed. Has anyone used this? Or knows where to get hold of one?

    Hello from a newbie

Welcome Lincolnshire Lad. Having tried various chainrings up to a rather silly looking 58 teeth on my 500W Stealth, honestly I'd take d8veh's other advice go with changing to the freewheel first. I'm about to do that to my mine - the plan being to make the big jump in top speed by having the 11...

Hi Rob, I'm thinking of having another go at trying to fit the 11 - 28. Can you elaborate on why you feel it didn't ride as well? I keep increasing the chainwheel size and although it helps, I think I'd rather have the 11T freewheel fitted.

    Winter gloves

I bought some fingerless, USB heated gloves from Ebay that are okay for Autumn - but way too much hassle plugging them in through each sleeve and they only warm the back of your hands. I've ordered these motorbike style hand guards to keep the wind off my hands. For £2.86 I thought they were...

    ebike law changes coming....

35KPH would be sensible IMHO. My gearless hub motor when unrestricted likes to sit at around that speed with a bit of pedalling. An increase in speed will also probably mean more range for me.

    Cyclotricity Battery Issues.

Their QC could do with a bit of work. My brand new battery arrived with blown fuse and wires pinched in the case when it was closed at the factory. I called and they offered me the choice of opening and repairing myself without affecting the warranty or sending it back. Also notice the sliver of...

    Rotor locks for security

I've been waiting on mine to arrive for a while now. I probably won't bother using it very often, but for the price it's worth having around. The vibrations sensing, alarmed ones might be more worth it. Secondary measures for me would be extra types of locks and a vibration alarm so I can hear...

    Cycling in the Rain!!!

I'm pretty sure it was @d8veh who mentioned clips like these in another thread. Just seen these Stay Eyelets too. I'm using these SKS Velo on my 26" wheels. They may need the optional optional extra stays, especially if you go off road, but the front on mine hangs perfectly without any other...

I'm tempted to get one of these google/mask combos, with removable mask too. Will probably look silly or steam up but might be worth a try...

Is it worth using a tracker?

I've got a bluetooth tracker in my controller housing - £20 and battery lasts a year. I'm planning on buying a cheap GPS tracker which will need to be hidden where it can be removed and charged regularly. I also have a seperate alarm which goes off when the bike is moved. I'm not kidding...

That's an odd one. Your battery is a 48v one, I can't see how it would read 36v and still work, let alone jump to 53V.

    Cyclotricity Stealth Owners thread.

Hello! Thanks for all your very helpful posts that it really helped me to know what to expect and helped me make up my mind. I've had my 500w stealth for a couple of weeks now - lots of fun but a few teething troubles. I'm running it at 250w and have a throttle. Firstly, the battery wouldn't...
