    Described as almost a motorbike

When i bought my Woosh Big Bear they described it as almost a motorbike. So i made it look even more like one.

    Kwikfold Xite 3

And here it is. I have changed my Kwikfold from one second folding time to two seconds folding time by fitting a folding handlebar stem. Plus a quick release carrier and two quick release carrying / lifting handles. It’s now super compact and easily fits into my tiny car boot. THE END

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Not all wheel drive. That would not be road legal. It was either front or rear and switchable. But i never used front wheel drive after fitting a rear wheel motor. The difference in traction, handling and ride is anazing. I would always recommend rear or crank drive.

    Kwikfold Xite 3

Well it’s been ten weeks now and i am still waiting for my folding handlebar stem to arrive from China. Kwikfold seem to have disappeared from social media activity. Meanwhile i have fitted a pair of Brompton mudflaps. They do the job and stops the water spraying over my legs, feet and back. I...

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Thanks for the tip. I have considered doing this but the weight on the front stops me from pulling wheelies. I like to sit well back over the back wheel. And, i’ve turned the hanlebar stem around so it’s nearer the back.

    Traction problem with Big Bear

This is it! Now converted to rear wheel drive only and decluttered. It handles and rides beautifully. I doubt i will offer it for sale again. It’s still only done 580 miles. I keep my little Kwikfold Xite-3 permanently in my car. Works out great.

Advice for disabled rider on steep climbs - realistic?

I’ve got a Big Bear. Now with rear wheel drive. It will take some beating on our very steep North Devon hills but i think you need an electric moped / scooter. Just slide onto it and away you go. Some have more pull than engine bikes. Why have something with pedals if they’re not able to be used.

Passing cyclists It has always been inadvisable to pass too closely to a cyclist for safety reasons but you could now be fined if you come within a certain distance while overtaking. Following law changes in March, motorists could be fined for not leaving enough space between a vehicle and a...

Considering an Eco Voltz Dart - Looking For Advice

My Kwikfold Xite-3 folds in seconds and fits into my tiny Ford Ka boot standing up. It ticks all the boxes for how a folding ebike should be. Rear Bafang motor, disc brakes, Kenda tyres, small quick charge Samsung battery with good range. And now it’s available in aluminium which gets the...

Finally gone and done it But!!!

No matter how soft and comfy a seat may feel, you won’t get the best out of it unless you fit a Suntour NCX seatpost. They don’t fit all bikes though and they will also raise the minimum seat height by 2-3”. This is my very large gel saddle and NCX. Very comfy over long distances.

    Traction problem with Big Bear

Thanks for asking. I have had to go back to driving a small car and carrying a tiny folder in the boot to get me to places where motor vehicles are not permitted. I did put Big Bear up for sale but unfortunately while it was listed, the motor changeover switch broke. Very annoying as it was a...

    BeatBike

I have tried her with 20” wheels, then 16” wheels but both too big. So i bought her one of those kids electric scooters. She loves it. Looks odd seeing a granny of 12 grandkids bombing around the streets on an electric scooter with a seat but she doesn’t care. And of course it’s not road or...
