The bike dealer sells the brake sensors in their online shop. They tell me that i don’t need them. They say the motor stops when i apply the brakes without them having to be fitted. It doesn’t seem that way to me. How would it work? It’s a Bafang motor fitted into the back wheel.

Any tips for squealing front and rear disc brakes on a brand new bike? Apart from cleaning and aligning which i’ve already done.

Is it common for some electric bikes not to have brake lever motor cut switches fitted?

For that distance you will need 26” wheels or bigger and with rear or crank drive. Whether you will get any bikes that size onto a train i don’t know.

Not bearings. They are all new bikes. It must be caused by the chain slack being taken up as each cog enters a link.

I seem to notice this on all my bikes. A crunching sensation through the pedals. Coming from the crank, chain or gears. Is this normal?

Thanks for this. This is just the job if the measurements work out. I would not be able to use the upper half as i have got unique split folding handlebars. See my photo below of my bike with handlebar stem detached and just hanging by the cables.
