If that land had been left to the Palestinians to live on it would still be the same pile of dirt it was in 1948. Fact. The jews made it useful. Made it possible to grow stuff there. Put effort into it.

I like Iain Martin's take on Corbyns latest move: "In a bid to persuade other Labour MPs standing on the edge of revolt and resignation, threatening to turn a breakaway into a full split, Corbyn has been forced to promise a referendum rerun, sort of. Before the People’s Vote crowd perform a...

It was 12 before the last vote. Remind me - how did that turn out?

Dominic Cummings just released his latest blog message.... this was part of it: "Few scientists and even fewer in the tech world are aware of the EU’s legal framework for regulating technology and the implications of the recent Charter of Fundamental Rights (the EU’s Charter, NOT the ECHR)...

Michael Tomlinson writing in the Times today: Above the chamber of the House of Commons, along the winding corridors of the Palace of Westminster, sits the European scrutiny committee, or ESC. It performs a vital function, not least as a persistent reminder of why so many voted to leave...

Millions of homes could have their food waste bins collected weekly, if new proposals from the environment secretary are implemented in the wake of a government consultation on the UK’s waste system. Michael Gove’s proposed measures to ensure consistent recycling collections come after a number...

More Brexit good news: We’re to go back to having weekly bin collections it seems. That’s the plan that Michael Gove is announcing at least. This being something that Brexit gives us – the ability to tell the European Union where it gets off with its more ludicrous insistences upon recycling...

OK. Well if we have evidence that she has broken a valid law then she's going to have that to deal with.

Well f*** the Muslim population of that area. It's not up to them. They live by the laws of the land like the rest of us.

Well. Tommy. As much as I go along with your posts..... this one I gotta say hang on my friend. I think we're NOT turning into a cesspit for the very reason that you and I are able to talk about this stuff out in the open as it were - and that this lady if and when she comes back - will...

Yes that's a fair comment too. Though I keep coming back to the fact that we can only act based upon the laws we have all agreed. But nonetheless that is a fair comment.....

You see no reason for accepting her back. Flecc - so what? If she has a valid passport she has every right to come back. End of. If in due course she breaks some law - then as I said she will have to deal with that. But until then - you gotta play by the rules. The fact that she wants to...

If she has a valid passport she has every right to come here. If she has broken some law or if she breaks one when she gets back - then she will have that to deal with. Otherwise - we're a country of laws. That's how it works.

Whatever Danny. Go read that IMF article and get back to me - then we can figure out who's got the best knowledge on economics. Right now guess what? I'm voting it's me.

I was talking about the 15% already. And then another god knows what for a while till people start to realise being out of the EU is actually going to be just fine. Either way they should help exporters (not withstanding Danny's belief that higher costs of raw materials will count against...
