    Derestricting Sirocco CDL

one thing I did was to replace the front disc brake with a hydraulic calliper (£30 or so from chainreactioncycles), derestricting encourages generally travelling faster one would normally and brakes become much more crucial

    Derestricting Sirocco CDL

hypothetically, a 95kg unfit bloke like me could average 20 to 24 with medium to fast pedalling (it's a hypothetical hoot too, around 24 mph the front wheel get's a little light..)

    Views on diblasi R34 please......

strictly for what its worth, id get a trailer and pedelec (something like a kalkhoff) then you'd have serious grunt and speed and offroad ability and quality and the flexibility to have a standalone pedelec when not travelling with the terriers..

    Liability....

I wish a moderator would sensor this kind of commercial self promotion on the forum, it doesn't add, a thing, to my experience of e bikes..

    Viking E go

it's a very subjective thing, but I like the cycling part - a pedelecs is to me a bionically enhanced version of a pre-war sunbeam roadster - something that provides Olympic levels of performance from the kind of gentle input one might give a roadster on the way to the pub, so no in my case the...

    Derestricting Sirocco CDL

hypothetically no, the only heating of the motor occurs - again hypothetically - on steep hills in low gears - at which I don't think the derestriction would play any role

    Derestricting Sirocco CDL

I, hypothetically, could get 30 miles on a derestricted santa ana cd (TCM) with 15 aH battery bopping along at around 20mph..

    Chunky monkey needs a kit!

    Chunky monkey needs a kit!

many thanks, that clarifies things (though the number of leads parallel, series and balancing, suggests a vast amount of soldiering to me)

    Chunky monkey needs a kit!

one absolutely last question - on a hase tagun (long wheel base recumbent with size 20 wheels, 8 speed casette, marathon plus') would on go for the 328 rpm or 260rpm motor if one wanted a top speed of around 20mph and good hill climbing? many thanks

    Chunky monkey needs a kit!

many thanks, 500 cycles on a 666 wH pack is at least two years plus in my life, so, while not ideal, survivable..
