    Reprogramming the BBS02

The hydraulic brake sensors can be a nice reliable alternative to using the micro switch from a Bafang lever. They'll work fine with other types of braking systems too. OK, so it is extra cost, but it does mean you don't have to drill out your existing lever, plus may be more aesthetically...

    Regreasing a BBSxx final drive

I regrease the final drive of my BBS02 when the metal gears start to get a little noisy. I was using CV grease to do the job, but decided to try a thicker grease, hoping that it sticks to the gears a little better. With the help from flecc, searching for a thick grease, I bought this: Well...

The fact is, humans are stubborn creatures. Take for example the issue with using mobile phones whilst driving a vehicle on the road. The law was introduced well over a decade ago, but as this article suggests, the problem still exists, resulting in unnecessary deaths each year...

A 30mph crash fatality in something not tested or safe..

I had drawn up a short list between the Twizy and Toyota Aygo, before I finally plumped for the Aygo. The weather proofing, or lack of it, finally put me off the Twizy.

    Reprogramming the BBS02

I can only answer this one. The clutch disengages instantly, the issue is with the motor carrying on after pedaling has ceased. It does seem to stop a bit quicker if one back pedals slightly, but that makes riding awkward. I've learnt to slightly squeeze the brake cut-off, if I want the motor...
