You're a braver man than me. I would never operate a Bafang BBSxx without at least one brake cut-off fitted. The motor overrun on the pedal sensor is far too long, which the brake cut-off kills instantly.
How have you not destroyed your drivetrain when changing gears?
I have reduced the overall current to 20A from 25A, in the setting just under the Low Battery Protect(V). I changed the 'Keep Current' to 100% too.
All other parameters are as per Bafang factory settings. I found that changing the individual limit speed to 100% in all PAS modes, produced...
Another suggestion is to take the battery off and disconnect all the plug in waterproof cables. Reconnect them all, ensuring they are correctly aligned with the arrows on each plug. Then put battery back on and power up.
Like many others on this forum, I suffer the occasional tingling of the hands during a ride. I won't go into the reasons why we get this, as there are a few medical conditions in relation to tingling and pins and needles.
A solution that can either cure or at least alleviate tingling, is to fit...
As d8veh says, the temperature might be reaching it's limit coz you've maxed out the settings. Change them back to the original settings, go for a ride and tell us if you are still having problems.
If the bike rides ok with the original settings, then increase parameters like 'Keep Current'...
All this talk about how dangerous powerful bikes are for acceleration and speed. How about how dangerous bikes can be when coupled with powerful brakes and an incompetent rider.
I have witnessed at total of three riders over the past few years, who have come a cropper when using hydraulic...
I never thought I would get that excited by a pair of handlebar grips, but I've ordered the Ergon GP1's suggested by trex.
Looking forward to receiving these, fitting and trying them out. Will post a review, once I've tried them out for a few weeks.
Big thanks to trex :)
I get the same problem sometimes, and I have noticed that it only happens when I lean on my handlebars for too long. I think the circulation to the hands is getting restricted at the wrist.
I probably need to improve my riding posture.
You've been lucky that it didn't blow whilst going at speed.
If you're looking for a reasonably priced replacement, may I recommend the Schwalbe Land Cruiser tyre.
It rides well on the road, has low rolling resistance and is puncture resistant. It also provides some extra traction and grip on...
Mmmmmmm, that's a bit amateur dramatical. If you search through my threads, you will find I post a lot of useful stuff that is non illegal bike related.
I try to post reviews on any good products I find, and I hope people come to this forum to read the other good things that are discussed here...
That's a really nice bike Rob.
For me, it'll be anything from the higher end of the Haibike range, such as this one: http://www.haibike.de/produkte_detail_en,72221,24375,detail.html
Fingers crossed my Lotto numbers come in this week :)
